开过三次，前两次导航都标错了出口。有些门是不让进的，值班的空军哥哥会告诉你从哪个出口下哪个门进。里面非常大，我们懒的走路，先开到游客中心，看了看电影，对空军学院有稍微了解。再开车到礼堂那，因为建筑非常有特点每次在HWY上都能看到。这次特意来参观了下。让我想起我的母校，因为我是毕业于航空学院，所以有共鸣。

这是一个非常棒的旅游胜地,因为我老公曾经就在这个空军军官学校。那个小教堂真是美极了。电影会讲解从学生进入学校到离开学校这对时间的信息。这是一个值得游览参观的好地方。

这里值得花几个小时逛逛。整个校园很大,但是允许游客逛的部分相当小(有很充足的理由)。大教堂非常宏伟,游客中心也很漂亮现代。我们步行从游客中心到了大教堂(大约1/3英里),不算太坏,虽然到处都有标志提醒游客这是段艰难的远足,但事实上并不是这样。

这里包括一个很大的公众可以接近的区域。游客中心有一个很棒的资料室还有一个超级棒的礼品店。一定要去小教堂和B-52展区。参观这里不需要花钱。

如果你去了科罗拉多斯普林斯地区,一定要去空军学院参观,并去他们的礼堂看一看。开车在校园里能看到很多东西,当地的野生环境也很美。

We visited on a Saturday morning. Looked around the visitors center, watched the 20 min video. Drove around a bit, stopped at the chapple which was pretty. A few neat airplanes on display around the grounds. But things are really spread out. Not much to see. If you're looking to fill time, it's worth a stop. But other things in the area are much more exciting. NOTE... enter off North entrance.

If you are a tourist in Colorado Springs you must visit the Academy along the Rampart Range. Wonderful view of the campus from the chapel area. The chapel is another must see. Stop in the gift shops for something to remember. If there is an outside event or parade it is especially impressive.

I came here with family on a weekend and it was really neat. My uncle attended the Air Force Academy many years ago, so it was even more special for me to be able to see it. There was a great must-see video in the visitor's center that explains a lot about the academy. I felt that the merchandise store had a good selection and I was tempted to spend a lot more than I did. The nature trail to the chapel is beautiful, and the chapel itself is simply breathtaking. Unfortunately, since we went on a weekend, we didn't get to see the cadets marching to lunch, or many cadets around at all! One other downside is that we had a lot of trouble getting to the proper entrance.

The chapel is the best attraction of a number of interesting sights. For the architect's first work, this is an amazing building.

The U.S. Air Force Academy is located in a beautiful setting at the foothills of the mountains. The Cadet Chapel is a most see. You can park at the visitor's center and walk to the chapel from there. As you drive to the visitor center you may pass the cadet training area, school areas as well as sport areas. Near the south entrance you will find a display models of an A-10 Thunderbird and a F-16 AF Thunderbird planes. Close to the North entrance you will see a model of a B-52 bomber. For those of you with military ties, you may be able to camp at the USAFA campground.

The chapel is the icon of USAFA and just an amazing example of mid century architecture. The furnishings are amazing and appropriate to the era as well. Be sure to keep you game goggles on as they wildlife can be everywhere! Elk, giant black tail, turkeys, even bear on occasion.

We journeyed to the air force academy to see the chapel and were pleasantly surprised at the museum as well. The short film runs frequently and its very informational about what cadets go through. The only downsize is the sheer amount of shop items, and the prices. A good, short tourist attraction!

The USAF Academy facility is a must see if you're out West. Having seen West Point and Annapolis, the AFA stands out as the best, by far. The visitor's center has a great clip about the life of cadets. The chapel is amazing in light of thae fact it was built in 1957. The athletic facilities are breathtaking when you see them. A new building should be finished by the start of 2015/16 school year which will have its northside pointing to the North star and all glass!! The Falcon Trail which winds throughout the campus is great for mountain biking and hiking. For those interested in serious hiking there's Stanley Canyon trail on the west side of the property. Not for the feingt of heart with breathtaking views of the city of C Springs. Several awesome static displays of various aircraft including a B52 used during the Viet Nam war, an A10, and a T38. You will be amazed at just how huge the property is when driving from the North to the South gate. Don't miss it.

This place was so much fun for my son's team to play in. Us parents liked the open snack bar and the gift shop. The cellular service is horrible but its an arena so I expect as much.

This museum in visitors center is so tacky and outdated. It's mostly just photos and cheap posters with descriptions. movie is just a recruitment video. The outdoor jets are probably the best part, but they are parked all over the academy, so you have to get someone to tell you where they all are and some are open to public. For the premier air force, they need to move museum content into the 21st century.
