We went up to Alaska for 10 days to do some fishing, mostly for sockeye but we had 2 days of halibut fishing with Captain Rod. I can't recommend it enough. It was definitely the highlight of my trip, and I will absolutely be back next year. Listen to everything he has to say, he knows exactly what he's doing.
