polish museum

This museum will blow you away! You will be amazed at the many Polish culture artifacts and that of the rare Kashubian race. The museum is very well organized showing off art, craft work, photos, statues, clothes, and there is a healthy research section supported by dedicated and very helpful researchers. It is a definite "must see" even if you are not Polish. Three buildings of artifacts make up the Museum that promotes a very good education of the Polish culture not found elsewhere in the area.

This was a great little museum. It told the story of the Kashubian people who immigrated to Winona because of jobs in the wood industry. The Kashubians are a minority group in Poiand with their own culture and language. There were lots of photos, and a good guide to show you around. If you have connections to Poland this is a must see. If you don't have those connections, this is an interesting historical museum.

If you have polish relatives from this area this is a must see. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. The museum is housed in an older building but the displays are new and exciting.

This was the most interesting place we visited in Winona. They have an extensive collection of Kasubian Polish artifacts and information. The best part were the stories of the Kasubian heritage of Fr Paul Breza and Adam. They were both very knowledgeable and friendly. We will definitely be back!

... If your polish this place is for you, but my girlfreind and I aren't. Anyways, it was one of the interesting historical places in Winona. The workers are very nice and it's a quick tour if you have the time....
