the rink at massanutten

What a waste of money! While staying at the resort, we thought we would ice skate at "new" rink. My daugther skates, and wanted to work on some of her skills, and my other two children can only manage to get around any rink without falling, so they wanted to practice more. My "skating" daughter brought her own newly sharpened skates, and could not skate on this "rink". First of all, it's tiny. I mean, tiny! The ice has apparently never seen a zambonie (sp?) - ever - people were falling left and right on the divits - the ice was so rough, my family could not skate. What a waste of money. Do not bother! The skates you rent there were not sharp at all, btw - and were of very low end quality - even for a rental! We wasted our money and only lasted on the ice 20min of our hour and a half "session time" before calling it quits.
