Beautiful old theater in the heart of old town Vallejo. We went to see a friends play last weekend and were pleasantly charmed at the quaint location. Look forward to seeing another event there again.

This is a fun place to hang out, especially on Wednesday nights, when local entertainment is featured. The Empress Theater offers comedy acts on some Friday nights, and a variety of entertainment on some weekends. The concession stand, which offers wine and beer, is very pricey.

The remodeled Empress has had some impressive music the past year at very reasonable prices! The core musicians are extremely talented and have great stage presence. Check out their schedule!

Absolutely awesome atmosphere and venue! Excellent theater seating. Not a bad seat in the house! Live band with dance floor right in front of the stage! The Empress is beautiful and definitely adds to the quality of life in Solano County!

Best music every Wednesday night at the Empress - amazing musicians, awesome sound system, cover only $9, dancing, very friendly crowd and a bar. Plus, the theater itself is just beautiful. If you find yourself in Vallejo on a Wednesday night, don't miss it!

Very cool historical theatre & very comfortable with great dance floor. I lost my cell phone there & the janitor had it waiting for me on New Years Day. I would love to go back again soon - beautiful!

News Year Eve was out of this world with Tommy Castro and Leah Tysse performing together to celebrate 2014. The dance floor was packed. a crowd of over 300 people enjoyed a VIP meet and greet party before the show. There was food and the bar was jamming.The 2014 calendar is full of great music experiences, as well as a monthly comedy show.

Weekends only. The Empress is a beautiful old theater in downtown Vallejo. The playbill is eclectic...could be live performances by bands, a month of themed movies (ie Horror Month) or classics from the Bogart/Cooper era...even Hollywood musicals.

This is a gem right in the middle of downtown Vallejo. One of the few remaining movie palaces. The ceiling is beautifully restored and lighted in art deco style. There are now films and musical performances weekly at this venue so don't miss it when you are touring Vallejo.
