Pine Grove is awesome. There is a large pool and playground for the Children. The pool and Playground are in the front of the park so there is a strict 5 mph speed limit. You may see other reviews for this park that suggest the owner is mean. I recently stayed here for four months. The only people she got onto were the speeders. Some of them were asked to leave the park. In my opinion they deserved to be kicked out. The safety of the kids comes first. The park has a bar with big screen for watching games. Prices are very reasonable for food and booze. The owner, Cathy, works very hard to keep the park in outstanding shape. The sites are large and level. The grass is always freshly cut. The laundry room and bathrooms are exceptional well maintained and clean. They have an annual Christmas in July weekend. This is a very fun weekend. Lots of food and activities for the kids. The park is halfway between Lincoln and Omaha. It is the best park in the Omaha area. The other, name brand park is very overpriced with small hard to get into spaces. Give Pine Grove a try. You won't be disappointed.
We stayed here for 5 nights in our RV, and it was a perfect spot. It is located about 20 miles east of Lincoln and 30 miles west of Omaha. The sites are nice and long, good spacing between each site, and a very friendly staff. The park is just off I-80, so there is a bit of road noise, and trains do blow their whistles about 1/2 a mile away, but overall it was fairly quiet. They do need to do a little TLC on the roadways in and around the park, but it does help keep the people driving slowly. We would stay here again for sure.
We stopped here on our way through Nebraska. Great little spot that is well taken care of. Bathrooms are clean, bright and newly renovated. The camp sites aren't big, but better than some we've been to. Kids playground is the best we have seen in 10 years of camping. Good Sam members get discount.
This RV Park was run by very nice individuals. While it is fairly level, some of the sites were a little off so be careful which site you pick. The owners seem to cater to their customers and were very helpful. The park also has lots of kids stuff to do. They seem to attract local clientele. There is a race track next store so if you are into racing it's a good park, if you enjoy your quiet time then pick your nights carefully. We were here in April and it was very quiet. Since this part of the world has bad storms we were told to go to the sturdy men's restroom for protection. Both men and women showers were clean and private. The park is a renovated older park with a lot of grass, gravel, some paving but not a lot of dust. They have a restaurant and bar in the main building. After many years in RVing, this is only the second time we have experienced a bar in an RV park. The park is just to the west of Omaha, NE. If you want to tank up on diesel for the next day there is a truck stop with dual fill right at the entrance to the road the park is on. Gas is also available at the exit. The park gives good discounts to active duty military and all veterans as well as to Good Sam members (It is a Good Sam Park).
