Surprising good value for pretty much all-you-can-eat good food! Most folks don't realize that the cafeteria is open to the public AND it's not very easy to find, but worth the wander. Several buffet stations- vast choices ranging from your custom-prepared omelette station, to fruits/salads, a meat & three type buffet, pizza, cold cuts etc. A VERY impressive dessert selection. And the cafeteria is nice too- lots of booths etc. After all, it is LANDER. Which, by the way, has one of the best catering services in the area- Old Main Catering. Excellent.

You never know what you'll get at Lander, but they have a good salad bar, and lots of options to choose from. And a drink and a good selection of desserts are included, and its all-you-can-eat. I have found their website's menu to be unreliable, but the quality of the food is generally quite good.

My husband, son and I visited Lander University and it is a beautiful, small and quaint school campus. I enjoyed the buildings and landmarks along with the campus apartments and dorms. This is a place where I would like for my son or daughter to attend. The area is nice as well in Greenwood, SC and there is plenty of shopping and food places.Dorothy McK
