pompano beach golf course

My golfing buddies came down from Orlando this past weekend and we were set on playing Friday, Saturday and Sunday. One of the guys made all the bookings so we were pretty much set to his schedule. Friday, Crystal Lakes; Saturday Pompano (Pines Course) and Sunday was Palm-Aire! Without a doubt, Pompano's new Pines course had the best greens and overall conditions while the other two were a distant second!Staff was friendly, pace of play was good and best overall value out of the three! They want to come back next month and play both Pompano courses!Congrats

Stayed at the WyndhamPalm-Aire and received a great deal on all of the courses.$39 in high season for 18 with the cart is a steal for the courses.

We went there to play a small 4balls best balls tournament and the course was in good shape! No waiting and the rentals clubs were ok

very good selection of homemade soups and a pretty good Philly cheese steak .. with a long selection of draft beers, too

There is Definitely something going on at this course. They have truly cleaned up their act. The greens are terrific, the fairways and rough much improved and staff seems to be on there toes . keep up the good work.

We played 18 holes in the morning for $65 each. The course is nicely laid out, although it is right by the highway. It is not the most scenic course in the area, but it served our purpose. By the way, the restaurant there is great!

I played the course a year ago and it was not that good, I was talked in to playing it again and what a turn around. The greens were some of the best in the area (Pines) and the remainder of the course was much improved. It is nice to play a course that isn't surrounded by houses or condo's. Me and my friends will return. Kudos to the staff for turning this around

I was played both golf courses last year at this time of the year and my experience wasn't good. I don't want to come this year but my partner told me that they make a big success and the courses looks better, for my surprise boths golf courses are in spectacular shape, those greens are very different than last year. Palms still have some weeds but everything looks that they going in the right direction. I want to congrat the ground staff for an excellent performance during this year,now everybody is talking about how fantastic both golf courses are becoming up. It's a pleasure to me and my friends.

For a Public golf course it's awesome. i love playing here. Galuppis is fun especially on saturday when the Noles are playing. The range is long which is a plus, One downfall is the airport is on the same land. It can get loud while your playing.

Atmosphere and specials. Eggs Benedict is good value here. We like to go for breakfast and dinner. Parking convenient.

Played on a Thursday afternoon on the Pines course, for the price it was ok some of the fairways are very poor but the greens were ok. i played the Palms course last year and thought it was a better course and better layout.Starter could have been a bit more polite.Had a 2 beers in the bar afterwards and the staff were very friendly

I play here a couple of times a year and always have enjoyed my rounds. I was sadly disappointed in the condition of the course Fairways were pretty chewed up and the greens were not much better on either of the two courses. I really do hope they get their act together.

We brought our children for dinner after having gone to hit some golf balls with them for an afternoon while in pompano. So glad we did. The server was so nice and the food and environment were terrific. The tomato bisque was so good and the menu had so many great salads to choose from.

The price was ok for the course ($45 for course and rented clubs for $35). The course wasn't the greatest, but busy as heck. Fairways had lot of black spots, most greens were ok but also had some dead spots. Worst part was starter. Wife and I were by ourselves and he made it a chore to try to let us out by ourselves. When we checked in at clubhouse we went to starter and he was talking to his buddy. I stood there while he was talking and the friend had to tell the starter, "Maybe you should take care of those 2 people - looks like they want to golf"> He was terrible!! He was not friendly at all and practically ignored us and had few words to say or to explain where first tee was. I'd go back again but I too can be just as obnoxious to the starter if he is there.

this place is huge! went with couple of my coworkers to waste some time during the week. The grass is well maintained and the staff was very helpful. it is definitely better than most of the ones ive been to so far. it is also a good place for families.
