A funny, home-grown mix of mostly mid-century curios and stuff from your great uncle's basement, housed in a tiny, walk-through shed. It made us laugh with its combination of kitsch, cleverness and benign neglect. Check out the museum's roof made of reused aluminum cans. It sort of makes you feel good that someone followed through in creating this collection and sharing it with whoever shows up.
Its free. Its a tiny shack filled with junk from a thrift store. The restaurant that shares the same parking lot gave my whole family diarrhea. Keep driving.
A lot of hard work went into this and the idea was superb. Nothing really to write home about but worth stopping to see if you're passing through. The kids will enjoy it and the adults too. It's free so you can't go wrong!
You gotta love the mind of the designer that came up with the idea and the focus to see this idea out. Superior is a small town so why not have the World's Smallest Museum here. And so it was as i had to wait for the preceding museum goers to walk through before entering the small museum of random artifacts and pictures.. some had to do with Superior some not.Worth a stop to check it out if driving by, but don't come from London exclusively for this museum, just make it a stop along your way somewhere else lol.
It was unique. Not enough details about some artifacts. The fee is $1 donation. I wouldn't drive out of my way to visit.
It only open on weekends, wouldn't make a special trip to see it, but if your in Superior, Arizona its very unique to visit. Seen of few times. Bring different friends each time.
The worlds smallest museum is worth the drive. The scenery driving there from Phoenix, which it is about an hour to get there is beautiful. Once in the little town of Superior , there it is. The Buckboard Cafe is right next door. Be sure to have a delicous, warm cinnamon roll. The museum has artifacts of the town and about different bits of U.S. history. It is only 134 square feet, can hardly stretch out your arms in it , but it is interesting and educational. Around the outside they have various displays also, Be sure to check out the beer/pop can roof!!
Only takes about 15 to 20 minutes to see everything. A few nice surprises. It has some antiques and collectibles of various kinds. It even houses a very old photo of a famous person who I will not give away. If you want to know, you'll have to see for yourself. If you're in the area, it's worth a visit.
We love roadside attractions and this is a perfect one. This is literally directly off the road, and a $1 donation for upkeep. There are a couple interesting items, but do not want to list as we don't want to give anything away. The entire roof is made from soda cans. Worth a trip if driving by on your way to Miami-Globe.
This one will knock your socks off. Or your hat if you're wearing one. If you are chlostrophobic you might want to medicate first. Cute and fun!
Just a quick stop, but so much fun! Great way to stretch your legs and enjoy a quick tour!
