Very centrally located, the park is an oasis in this city. Pretty well maintained and with kilometers of pedestrian and cycling paths. I visited in the place in pretty bad weather conditions......must be spectacular during the summer months !

This is a very big park very near the center of Vilnius in the end of M. K. Čiurlionio gatvė surrounded by the river Neris on three sides and the motor way A1 on one side is a real good place for recreation. Here you can stroll for hours in the forest and breath fresh air or play on the big grass arena or rent roller blades, bicycles, bicycle cars and going around on the small asphalt roads. In this arena they have every summer very big traditional chorus concerts and festivals, but also concerts of famous pop stars as Lady Gaga, Sting etc. Behind the big arena you’ll find a small amusement park for the children and also a restaurant. Behind the arena on the other side of the street you’ll also find the old Botanical Garden and a small Zoo. It’s a little bit hard to find the entrance to the garden in the fence but it’s really worth a visit. I think it’s only open during the warm part of the year and here you can enjoy the songs from the birds and the beauty of all flowers in a calm and relaxing place far away from all street sounds and in the shadow of the TV tower on the other side of the river Neris. Among all, they use to have a very nice tulip exhibition during springtime and the systematic field has always something blooming and here you can find several representatives from many flower families. The greenhouses look like they need some maintenance, but the old palm house has become a scene from which you can listen some summer concerts. This garden is a department of the new big University Botanical Garden 10 km outside Vilnius. This park is really worth a visit and it is almost in the middle of town.

Excellent place to spend time with friends, run, ride a bicycle and do other activities at free time. No matter day or night, winter or summer - it's a great place to get out of city noise while being in city center at same time.

The air is fresh, a lot of runners, perfect to go to by bike, rollerblades or a skateboard. I would highly suggest to go there for both active and passive time spending.

Though a bit far from the center, but a great place to relax and lay down on a grass or sit on stadium steps. Lots of beautiful young mothers and old grandpas trying rollerblades - so it's very quite here. Rent a bicycle and hang around.

This park represent a great place to take a break from the visit of the city and to spend some time surrounded by nature. It is also possible to rent rollerblades, bikes, longboards, etc. and practicing them inside the park. The environment is also full of interesting spots for photography.

While renowned for the concert grandstand in the center of the park, Vingio Parkas contains around 300 acres of forested land with dozens of trails running through it. It is an excellent place for a long walk for nature lovers.

We discovered this park on a suggested bike tour around the city. After we had already visited all of the attractions and monuments, it was so nice to see the population of the city at play--Families, young couples and old, strolling biking and just enjoying the greenery in the middle of the city. This large and well maintained park gives Central Park a run for its money!

Park is very big. There is a big stadium and facilities around this stadium. Two playgrounds for children. You can rent bike, skate right at the stadium.Amusement park behind the stadium is small, but enough for small children. You can ride and park near the stadium, which is convenient for car owners.Relaxing atmosphere and green everywhere.

I went for lady gaga's concert here, really impressed by the scale of the park.. and the path leading in were very well maintained. Apparently it is one of the largest and most popular parks in lithuania.

Just a park with summer arena in the middle. People running cross, people walking with dogs.. what else you expect from "just a park"? :)

Park like a forest with nice stadium. Summer you walk by the beautiful banks of the river Neris ! We ski (cross country) all the Winter !

Le lieu est sympathique pour la balade mais ne vaut la peine d'un détour explicite tout de même. Comme dans la plupart des espaces verts de la ville, des jeux pour enfants sont proposés à plusieurs endroits. Originalité du parc : un amphithéâtre utilisé par les locaux pour tout sorte de manifestations.

Sin dudas el parque mas hermoso de todo Vilnius, enorme. Lleno de vida, ideal para hacer ejercicio. Y a 10 min en Bus desde el centro.

На территории этого большого парка у нового города Вильнюса у излучины реки Нярис часто проходят концерты и митинги. Самое большое количество участников - более 250 тысяч человек - было в 1988 году на митингах Саюдиса. А местность под парк выкупил царь Александр Первый, который останавливался здесь в мансарде. Местность ему так понравилась, что и было основанием для покупки.Сейчас это просто парк.
