I loved it here! The campgrounds are picturesque and covered in lush green grass. Tere is a perfect host.

Very friendly, lovely lavender ice-cream, also many gifts available from the giftshop and cafe.Also has a camping ground (caravan accessible road ) away from the hustle and bustle, showers and power at a small fee.

The drive there was probably a bit better than the farm itself. Beautiful countryside we came Along back roads through giraween national park and then near a lake with huge granite outcrops scattered through crop and grazing land. The little farm was pretty and the lavender products smelt beautiful. The lollies are a bit different. Didn't stop for long.

Nice place to stop wander and have am tea and coffees. Very friendly owner, Tere. Shes good fun and chatty, knitting squares for charity, minding shop and baking. Try lavender scones so soft and fresh. Her son in the shed discussed the processing and distilling to us. Well worth a visit and wander. Good time to visit in end Nov harvesting time.

Our second visit, and this time we stayed a couple of nights in the B&B to enjoy more of Peter and Tere's company. Yes, yes the Lavender is fine, smells great, café serves good coffee and yummy home-made cakes, gift shop is packed with interesting, useful and fragrant stuff, etc. etc. but what really makes the Lavender Farm a place not to be missed is the people! As somebody else has commented: "Tere is a gem"; we'd agree and say she's a hoot! Our stay happened to coincide with a visit by 40+ historic cars and their 80+ drivers and passengers, Peter and Tere and assorted grandsons served them all with freshly-made scones with jam and whipped cream and the whole gathering were entertained by Tere's robust sense of humour and by her illuminating talk on all things lavender. Priceless!

Bit of a hike and frankly underwhelming. winter possibly wasn't the time to go as the lavender beds weren't fragrant or flowering really. However the owners were very personable, friendly and welcoming and very informative about the products they stocked. Perhaps a different season would be better to visit.

We went at a time when the lavender was not out, but it is still a lovely place to visit. They have a very nice gift shop well stocked with anything "lavender'

I am a bit late leaving this review but better late than never. I went with a bus load from the Tenterfield area and we were treated to Tere's unique sense of humor while she recounted how the farm became established.We all enjoyed a most delicious meal and then visited the gift shop which is full of all sorts of wonderful gifts. Lucky they have card facilities as I had a good spend up, the value for money really impressed me. It is a bit of a hike to reach the place but you would have to be hard to please if you didn't enjoy your visit.

The property and surroundings were filled with this beautiful Lavendar fragrance and the shops items were great value

Great old-fashioned hospitality from country folk whose family have farmed the area for many generations. Welcome Home! That's the message we get every time we visit. Sometimes we stay in the B&B and other times it's camping on their front lawn with a group of friends. I find the shop amazing, it takes me quite some time to look through all the lavender goodies and I always seem to see something new (there's so much variety) every time I visit. Peter and Tere have lots of great stories to tell about their experiences on a working cattle and lavender farm. We'll be back there again soon!

The hosts Peter and Tere are true hosts. I have stayed here twice for 1 and 2 nights and what a pleasure it is to arrive at a warm, atmospheric, spacious family home, knowing I have my own sleeping quarters and it's own shower and restroom. The whole room and beds are soooooo comfortable and warm in winter. As this house is set on a very large expanse of land the views across the low hills and dales are amazing, especially on an early frosty, crisp morning! The homestyle fully cooked breakfast is so jam packed with variety it's incredible. I love it how if you just want to sit on the landing with morning or afternoon you can, with a book or just to gaze out at the scenery and people watch when there are visitors to the Lavender Farm and Lavender shop. I am planning my 3rd visit now.

Actually quite a drive and the cafe/shop was a bit underwhelming. Looked good for campers onsite though and the lavender oil is fab as are some of the other quirky lavender products.
