What a great concept. 40 deg outside, -7 inside. £11 pp for around 25 mins inside the ice bar. Glasses are all made of ice, sculptors are very detailed , staff very knowledgeable.. 1 shot & 1 cocktail included in price along with gloves & protective cold resistant capes. Well worth a visit.also on site a fab restaurant. Fantastic food, well cooked, reasonably priced, attentive service.& live music from 10.00pm onwards. Definitely an up and coming area. Went from 28 degrees to -8 in seconds haha! They provide you with a coat and gloves. They should have a clock to count down your time. Small room but the sculptures are amazing. Get treated well and free shot and cocktail each.

Me and partner visited early September and are so glad we did. They provide with with gloves and a cape and you get a shot and a cocktail in with the price. Drinks are cheaper than bars outside. Great experience in such a hot country. It was -6 when we went in...you get 20mins inside....after 15 mins it started to feel cold. Lovely people who run it who will chat and tell you about Hurghada. Very helpful. Great place and would visit again!!! Shame not many people know about it yet as its very new to Hurghada.

A group of 12 of us thought we would try out the ice bar and what an experience. It was fab excellently run and very welcoming. Ponchos and gloves provided along with the drinks!! A must for anyone visiting Hurghada We had a lovely meal in the south beach bar and a few drinks first so was a fantastic end to the evening.A huge thanks to all the staff. We will definately be back

my fiance and I visited last night, he's Egyptian and never experienced the cold so wanted to see his reaction. he loved it. I was freezing lol. it's about 150 LE each for entry which includes a shot which is in a glass made of ice and a cocktail. the temperature is about -5 and you have 25 mins in the ice bar, it's enough believe you me - i was wearing flip flops - big mistake, couldn't feel my toes.the ice sculputures inside are amazing.it's a great idea to do something that little bit different - brilliant concept for such a hot climate

Had a great time in the ice bar for a birthday treat. Kimberley was so helpful and fun. Cost 150 Egyptian pounds and you get a shot in an ice shot cup and a cocktail of your choice incl. Well worth the money. Such a good idea.

I have just got back from Hurghada and have got to recommend anybody going there to try the Sub Zero Ice Bar. What an experience. I am in the hottest place I have been and then walk into the coldest place I have ever been. The ice sculptures are amazing,the shots fantastic and the whole experience one I will never forget. Well done to the staff for making it so good. We will be back.

A brilliantly Egyptian themed ice bar at -7 degrees in a place as hot as hell!! There is no more welcome sight. I visited here on my birthday with 10 people ranging from 16 years to 50 years old and had the most fun. Everybody was amazed at the styling and attention to detail but most of all our hats must come off to Paul, Kim, Omar and the rest of the team who made us feel so welcome and are obviously very proud of their ice ice baby! The cost of LE160 was well worth it for 25 minutes, a shot and a cocktail of your choice as well as the insulated capes and gloves. This was a fantastic visit and the highlight of my birthday for both myself and my party. A unique experience I am keen to repeat. Just some ideas from our party for improvements are a digital clock on the wall that counts down your time in there, merchandise like shot glasses and beanie hats with a catchy slogan like " I survived at Sub Zero" (?!?!) And a pocket on the Cape for the menu card because it's a pain to hold with gloves on but gets soggy if you put it down. Just a few ideas Paul!!

Just back from Subzero and all I can say is that it was amazing and very cold. The attention to detail is out of this world. Designed with an ancient Egyptian theme, it's like taking a step back in time. Very stylish and oozing with class. I highly recommend this bar . Absolutely amazing.

Wow! I was able to move from the sun, sand and 35 degrees of heat to -7 and pure ice in a walk of just 20 meters. Friendly, bubbly staff, free shot and cocktail and a VERY welcome chance to cool off for a while. Never thought I could feel the cold in Egypt, but Sub Zero Ice Bar made this possible.Huge thanks to Paul and Nicola for the idea, and Kimberly for the welcome when we got there. This is sure to make the coldest place in town the hottest spot to be in.Keep up the good work guys, we will be back for sure.

Eine hervorragende Attraktion besonders bei 40 Grad ist diese Ice Bar direkt am Strand. Bei -5 Grad Celcius bekommt man neben der Abkühlung zwei Cocktails und einen Shot seiner Wahl gratis. Der ganze Spass dauert ca. eine halbe Stunde. Die Bar ist innen mit samt Skulpturen komplett aus Eis, man drinkt sogar aus Eisgläsern. Entsprechende Wärmejacken und Handschuhe bekommt man ebenfalls. Man sollte es unbedingt erlebt haben. Ein kühles Erlebnis, dass man so schnell nicht vergisst.
