McGooby's is not the smoothest running operation I have ever been to. The time between an order of a drink or food and its arrival is unpredictable. Prices are ok and the staff pleasant but just like you can't be sure how long about orders at the other end of the evening getting your check can be an issue.That being said getting big name comedians at their prices makes up for much of this. The club is small enough that there are really no bad seats. While not perfect its a decent value.

My friends and I had a great time at MaGoobys ringing in the New Year. Dinner, open bar, an outrageously funny comedian, champagne toast and dancing!! Looking forward to doing it again! This was about the 5th time I've been there and every time has been really fun. I love the way the place is layed out, with stadium seating, so all the seats have a good view of the show. Every comedian we have seen so far has been very funny and and the service has always been great!

McGooby's gets quite a few name brand comedians and even the unknowns are really funny. It's a very convenient location with lots of parking. The drinks are good, the food is decent (it's a comedy club, not a 4 star restaurant), which makes it a very enjoyable evening.

We used Groupon for the four of us. ASll comedians were very funny!!! Food is a little expensive and you have to purchase at least 2 items per person.

You will laugh so hard your abs & ribs will hurt. Especially if you're seeing someone you are familiar with. We saw T-REXX ourselves. Even the guy who introduces the entertainers was good. Very comfortable inside due to the small size for the seating-it kept more of the audience "involved" w/ THEIR comedy!!! Drinks not too expensive & staff very friendly. No t-shirts to buy however (we're memorabilia buyers). Very inexpensive for a "night out". Another new experience for us & we already have tickets for Tom Arnold Oct 11th.

I got tickets to see Jim Breuer for my husband as a Father's Day present. I've been to a lot of comedy clubs and this is by far the most spacious. They usually jam you into the club which makes it very difficult to move around. The tables we spaced out nicely with plenty of room to move around. They also have stadium seating so there is really not a bad seat in the house. They do seat four people at a small table but the spaciousness more than makes up for it. The waitress we had was very courteous and efficient. She checked on us several times throughout the show. I love that they use iPods to take and transmit your drink and food order. My husband ordered the chicken finger basket...food was fresh and hot...not too bad. They serve your typical bar fare...nothing impressive. There is a two drink minimum...we just got beer and soda. We arrived early so we were able to check in, get out table assignment, and head over to the bar connected to the club, Wits End. It is small and dark but not a bad place to grab a drink and pass some time. Once it was seating time, we came right back to the check in desk and got seated right away. Plenty of free parking and really convenient location (right between I-83 and York Road) I was very happy with my experience and would definitely come back!!

I was on my own for an evening and just stumbled on this place while walking by, looking for a place for dinner. It was a good choice to grab a hamburger and do something for the evening.

We went to Magooby's in search of a different night out. We are avid comedy lovers and decided to try this place. We went to Wits End bar (directly connected) and had a drink prior to the doors opening. The bartender let us know about reserving our table, etc. at the joke house. We got a table right up front. The waitress took our order and as she was leaving, mentioned that our tiny two top table could become a four top. Trip Advisor never fails me. I read reviews and you were dead on. Our waitress was friendly an efficient, but the food was average at best. Thank god for their headliner because he saved the night. If you want to come out to this club 1) eat before hand unless you are ready for average bar food 2) get here early and get a table. Drinks are high end for the decor and ambiance at this venue.

Visited Magooby's for the 1st time and enjoyed the entertainment. The setup is different, little to dark once the lights are turned down. Expecially when trying to walk up to the upper level the black carpeting is a hazard. Otherwise free, plentiful parking, non traditional locations are benefits in my book and close to the hotels give some form of entertainment to visitors. Food was ok- drinks - not too bad either. Eddy Griffin was the entertainment - that made everything all good!
