springfield manor winery and distillery

I drive by this place twice a day, going to and from work and until recently have never stopped in. What a pleasant surprise indeed. The wine, service, and atmosphere were all above my expectations.Would highly recommend it to anyone

Springfield Manor is a truly wonderful place to visit. The winery is housed in a renovated barn near the historic house. The inexpensive tasting is a fantastic experience given the many wines to try and warm, friendly, knowledgeable staff. After the tasting, we bought a few snacks like cheese, crackers, and salami (available in the tasting room) and a couple glasses of our favorite wines to enjoy on the beautiful patio overlooking the lavender fields. There were people strolling through the field, taking photographs, and enjoying the gorgeous setting. The umbrellas on the patio protected us from the summer sun and we stayed for hours. I highly recommend Springfield Manor for anyone passing through or looking for a leisurely afternoon activity. The setting is perfect for both sunny and rainy weather because the indoors is just as beautiful as the outdoor seating!

This winery has such wonderful people working! They really make you feel welcome from the moment you walk in to the moment you leave. The wine is awesome the views are breathtaking. I would suggest this place to anyone! It's also a wedding venue so on a Saturday afternoon you will most likely see a bride in the lavender fields!

Had the pleasure today of visiting a new winery that just opened. The winery tasting room is located in a beautifully redone barn on the property. The tasting room itself is a little small, but the seating area outside on the patio is huge and the views are wonderful. We did a tasting of six wines and later enjoyed a bottle+ out on the patio. Our favorites were the Farm House White and Traminette The distillery is to open in about 2 and 1/2 months we were told and will serve a large selection of fruit brandies, looking forward to that. All in all its a beautiful setting and a great place to relax and unwind. Everyone on staff was very pleasant and helpful. I must also note that they grow and sell lavender on site and that the patio area overlooks the lavender growing area, very pretty.
