Decent local public course. Great for duffers and far cheaper than of the private clubs. Average facilities.

Tried foot golf for the first time here and had a great time. The staff were great as was clubhouse. The course was well laid out for both foot golf and regular golf. I well be coming back for both foot and regular golf with friends. Highly recommended.

Course very lush with long winter grass rough. Greens were very fast although they didn't look fast. Had trouble getting speed correct all day even on the practice green. Bur interesting layout and fair

NWP is my neighborhood course, just 12 mins away from me. The course is pretty nice some up hills some down hills, the fairway is nice, but the greens are well manicured and sometimes tricky. it has the longest par 5 in Moco County; it located in hole 6, it is not too difficult to get par there if u have good driving n great 2nd shot. On the weekday it only take 3.5 hours, sometime less to complete 18 holes. And for the weekend it does take a lil bit longer, but who cares, just enjoy the nature and beautiful course. if you are in a hurry don't go play on the weekend, plus taking your time playing golf is good for your game anyway.

This is a very challenging course not only because of it's design, but it also, I believe, it's the longest public course in Montgomery County at 7200 Yds. The course has generous fairways and greens but that doesn't make it an easy course. There a many pitfalls throughout the course that keeps you thinking and it will really challenge your game. The grounds are well kept. There is a driving range and practice facility that's good to warm up on. The clubhouse and snack bar is adequate. If you're inclined, it's a good course to walk with short distances from greens to tee. To play is pricey, perhaps more than you're willing to pay, so shop around for a good rate. You'll also love the executive 9. It's no walk in the park, this is where your course management will come into play.

Northwest Park is an old style golf course. No tricks, no gimmicks. Just long, mostly straight, and with bunkering guarding the greens. Year in and year out it is in great shape, despite the large amount of play that it gets. It's definitely the best of the Montgomery County public courses. The fact that the course is so great and relatively inexpensive leads to its one downfall. Play is slow. On a nice weekday, expect a 4.5 - 5 hour round. On a nice weekend, expect 5-6 hours. The Inside Nine is a nice alternative if you don't have much time. It's shorter - no par 5s - but it's not just an executive course. With streams running through the fairways, it's a real test. Unfortunately, because it's only nine holes and it's shorter, it also draws a lot of new golfers, which means it too can be slow.

We play here at least once a month. The course is the longest and widest course in the Montgomery County Public golf system. The staff is sometime condescending to female golfers but once we get on the course the starter and staff are good.

This is an ok course. Usually in pretty good shape. Long but no real trouble. But $75!! Not worth it.

You can choose their "inside 9" for a quicker game. You can play the whole 9 in less than 3 hours without a cart. There is usually a quick pace of play.

The inner nine is great for a challenged golfer. But, I do enjoy myself.

This is a county owned and managed course. Course is actually kept up pretty well. It tends to be slow play however, and the so called marshals there don't do much.

Northwest Park is another of the Montgomery County golf courses, but unlike Little Bennett, it is kept in wonderful condition. Not only are the fairways and greens usually in tip-top shape, they've redone the bunkers such that they have real sand and good drainage. This is a classic style course. Brutal length on many of the par threes and par fours, with shorter, easier par fives. Bunkers tend to be off to the sides of the greens, leaving open shots to the pin, and water doesn't really come into play.Rounds can be slow, especially on weekends. But for a good, solid test of golf, NW Park is a good choice.Note that there is also an "inside" nine that is tougher than it appears, due to the number of times creeks cross through the fairways, limiting your ability to hit driver. It is not an "executive" course, but rather a collection of par threes and par fours that can provide a real test.
