Located about a 30 minute drive north of Baltimore, Beaumont Pottery is a great place to buy a bit of local beauty from a friendly, family-run business. If you've been to an Atwater's cafe, you've seen and likely used some of Jerry's handiwork. Jerry once had a job making Early American style salt-glazed pottery, and their shop has a nice selection of pitchers and crocks in this style. Though we haven't used this service, they have been known to undertake custom work, too. The prices were very reasonable. Worth a day trip from Baltimore
