Lot's of antique shops and other eclectic shops offering something for everyone. Nice place to park your car and stroll through the different shops. Lighting, home furnishings, jewelry, and so much more for sale. Afterward, head over to Continental on Connecticut Ave. for one of their terrific subs. A great way to spend an afternoon.

Nice place to stroll through though things are rather on the expensive side. Need to fix up the area and make it more inviting.

This one of my favorite areas to take a walk and also a great place to shop for antiques. There are so many shops in one small area. During the Christmas/New Year season you'll feel somewhat as if you've gone back in time or into a Dickens novel. The only negative is the lack of really nice eating establishments within easy walking distance.

You will find parking on the street and behind the shops for off street. Some shops have odd hours but most will be open 9-5. There is stuff here that ranges from hats to mats to nick-knacks. antiques painted fences indicative of places to reminisce of. You might find exactly what you were looking for or just enjoy seeing all the stuff. There are shops that specialize in jewelry, watches, dinning where, furniture, clocks. And I find it all so interesting. There will definitely be something that will remind you of grandmas house there. I would leave the kids home and its can be hard to browse because of the stairs in some places. I try to stop in frequently just to see what turns up.

Great stores featuring anything old and valued you might be looking for...including books, toys, and linens.A favorite store is the little store run by the Prevention of Blindness Society -- reasonable prices and great selection. But all these stores are worth exploring simply for an entertaining afternoon or to find a great buy. And there are several great places in the neighborhood for coffee and a sandwich too.

Me and my mom go shopping in antique row Every saturday. we buy seafood and vegetables from the farmers market, then wander around the antique row and buy tons of cool stuff. My private school ( which is situated kitty corner behind safeway in the church ) even found this awesome sculpture that is our school mascot ( bengal tiger) I love looking at all the cool places tucked in behind other shops and the gems you find by looking through a box of ornaments at the blind thrift shop

My friend loves to go to the blind store thrift shop there at Antique Row, so we go on Saturdays because there is a farmers market there. It is not you usual Farmers market. It has seafood, meat, imported cheeses and fancy desserts. If you are looking for your farm fresh stuff go to Rockville.

The antique shops in the area used to be better. These days prices are high for the quality of the antiques offered.Yet, it is nice to stroll around on a nice day.It would be nice if it had a couple more cafes or lunch restaurants

going thru all these shops...lots of treasure, some junk, but hey, there's always junk. Moderate pricing and easy locale make this attractive for beltway travelers.

As you travel northbound on Connecticut Avenue towards the Antique District of Kensington, You make an immediate left on Howard which is right after Knowles Avenue. Other services offered are Appraisal service, which is free if you need it verbally, or for a nominal fee a written appraisal would be provided. Other services offered are Professional Hand-washing of Antique and new rugs. Professional mending and repair is a specialty offered that is magical. The second floor offers all floorings such as Hardwood floor, wall-to-wall carpet, tiles, granite and kitchen and bath remodeling.
