If you're a fan of the New England Patriots this is the place to visit. Right next to New Englands Gillette Stadium this place will excite any fan young to old. The hall has so much to see and even has fun interactive things to do for Pats fans.
We checked out the Hall of Fame for the first time last weekend. I can't believe we have never been! Admission was $10, $9 with a AAA card (you must present the card). There is a lot of nostalgia to see. It's really neat to see things that were used in the games, old pieces of the previous stadium, and new things from the Superbowl this year. There are some interactive things for kids to do too. Of course, when you're done you end up in the ProShop...a very dangerous place ;)
No trophy there yet, but the museum was good for Pats fans. The interactive exhibits are great for kids. Thought it was a little bit pricey for what it actually was.
The Hall has something for every fan of the Patriots. Interactive opportunities for the kids, including a chance to wear the uniforms of Gronk, Wilfork and Brady, kick field goals, use a replay booth, etc. Plenty of championship revelry for the younger or bandwagon fan. Video of Belichick breaking down various plays for the fans of game strategy. And some excellent footage of and interviews with old-timers and the actual fabled John Deere tractor hanging from the rafters (every long-time fan understands its significance) to please the long-time fans. One tip - either go on a weekday when school is in session (provided there are no school tours) or get there when the museum opens and go to the second floor first (by entering on the third floor and going down to the second floor before returning to the third floor). This allows you to enjoy the interactive stuff and enjoy the Belichick video without being overrun by kids.
This is a must for any Patriots fan or really any football fan! This sits in the newly redone Patriots Place, or should I say not really newly redone since this has been there for a while. Near the stadium which is awe inspiring in itself, this 3 floor mecca dedicated to the Patriots and New England Football. The place is set up pretty cool starting out on the 3rd floor taking you through a glimpse of Football in New England and the early days of the Patriots but bringing you quickly up to date complete with AFC trophies and even the 3 Super Bowl trophies plus every trophy in between. I was with the kids so did not sit in the movie to start but hear it was well worth it. The exhibits here are really cool, from how Kraft took over the ownership and brought this team to 3 championships with the help of Belichick and Brady. There is also plenty for the kids here with hands on exhibits with a mock locker room complete with full uniforms to try on and helmets, a ball to practice kicking like Vinatieri and even some cool computerized plays you can run with Belichick and some blocking practices. There is a mock huddle with Brady calling plays and pieces of memorabilia from the championship Super Bowl wins including one of the duck boats and the Super Bowl rings. Pretty cool place to visit and a really well done museum and hall of fame, worth the price of admission.
Patriot Place offers everything for every member of the family. People can take tours into the stadium, kids can Ice Skate ( it is great!), there are all sorts of shops and restaurants. The place is beautiful and well kept.
Patriot fans and even non Patriot fans will enjoy a couple of hours browsing the history and memorabilia of the New England Patriots. There is lots of Robert Kraft, Tom Brady, Bill Belichick ... trophies, rings, game worn equipment etc. lots of interactive activities for kids of all ages. 2 hours well spent!
Yup. There it is. You can sit on the bench with former stars (statues). Join the huddle with more statues. Hear audio on former stars. See videos. Plus visit the store with the oh-fishul products (and some staggering prices)
Any trip to Foxboro would not be complete without at a stop at the Patriots Hall of Fame. Its a walk down memory lane to see the exhibits highlighting past players and important games in the development of this world class team.
Three floors of very well-designed Patriot history and interactive football displays. You will find games, a short film and Super Bowl rings. What more could a Patriots fan ask for?
the Hall at Patriots Place is a must to visit. To stand next to the SuperBowl Rings is mind blowing. Take your time and learn about the Team. Packed full with memorabilia from over the years. If you love football this is the place for you.
I highly recommend bringing your children ( not real little ones). There are a lot of very interesting things to see and do here. The 1st football and uniform. Many autographs and trophies. There is a mini locker room to try on uniforms and take pictures. I place to kick a football. Great fun.
It was really cool seeing the history of the Patriots and the memorabilia. The interactive things made it a great time
This is a great experience and they keep it updated. They even had memorabilia from Bill Belichick's 200th Career win the week after it happened.
Visited here on vacation to Boston. We weren't sure if we'd like this - the 2 females in our group knowing nothing about American football but it was a great museum and we spent ages in there. The kids liked trying on the uniforms and doing the interactive stuff while I enjoyed trying to kick a field goal. They've done a good job here - even the wife liked it! The shops and restaurants around the place are good too.
