This is a restored opera house in likeness to Fords Theater yet smaller. Still in use today, bringing back a golden age of entertainment. This is a must see when in Van Buren.

I happened on a concert here. The old building is still wonderful and I enjoyed a "step back in time".

Don't miss an opportunity to visit this beautiful old opera house. Americana at it's finest. Comfortable seating and modern bathrooms. Tongue and Groove floor is original.

We visited the Opera House to see a performance in this wonderful old building. The Opera House is located right in the old part of downtown Van Buren. As I remember, the opera house is about a hundred years old, but has been wonderfully restored. The outside looks like a well preserved old building, but the inside--especially where the performance occurred--has been wonderfully restored. They did not say how much the restoration cost, but it's substantial. If you are in Van Buren, you have to see this wonderful old building--it makes one appreciate how things were in the past!We visited to see a performance on May 24th. The one thing the Opera House and the City of Van Buren needs to do is "clean up" the introduction by the local director of the show. His introductory "jokes" were very off color, and did not reflect well on Van Buren, the Opera House, or the performer.
