On our way to Baton Rouge area from Houston, stopped at the Isle of Capri for just about 30 minutes. The area has grown and you have to go behind the hotels to find the casino entrance. Plenty of parking. the casino is a little outdated but has 3 floors. The main floor the machines were mainly $1 so we headed downstairs looking for the $.25 machine. You have plenty of options on what machines you want. Even though I did not win, it was a pleasant time. Did visit the restrooms and they were very clean. We did not eat anything at the casino but noticed there was a line for the buffet.

A little outdated, but good machine options and minimum bet tables for Blackjack, 3-card poker, and Let it Ride. Good value on the Buffet and good food.

I like how I'm treated at the Isle in Lake Charles.The employees are so down to earth.They really bring out their Southern Hospitality each time I visit the property.The Isle is a fun place to visit.Enjoy your stay.

We were told that ther were non smoking places in the casino, but that didn't mean the smokers on the next row's smoke didn't come in! Really!, $40 person person for a buffet! The area around the restaurant smelled fishy! Good fish should Not smell. Disappointed in this place

Free drinks while playing games! What more needs to be said besides going home on the positive side of the $$ is always a plus!

This place is nasty. There were bugs crawling on the floor and on the curtains. The food on the buffet was nasty, bland and tastes like it was cooked several weeks ago. The board of health should be notified SERIOUSLY!!!! This is NOT a healthy place to eat.

The Isle only has one boat now and all the gaming tables on the lower deck were closed. And, all the tables that were open were full so for a $5 or $10 blackjack player, I had to wait for a seat so I could play at a full table. The tables are old and ragged, which isn't so bad, but have enough of them open to accommodate the players that want to play! Otherwise, SHUT IT DOWN!

We stopped in on our way home and had a great time. We did fair and are planning our next visit very soon!!

I tried to eat their "surf and turf" buffet but their wasn't any surf and turf so I asked for my money back. I felt their buffet was not worth $25 it looked old and dry. I went downstairs to eat in their restaurant and that was food was very good. In the casino there was only two $5 blackjack tables. I had to wait almost 2 hours to play. And when I was playing the drink service was very slow.

This facility was constructed in the mid 1990's and looks it. At the time it was the best casino, beating Players (which became Harrah's). However, once L'auberge du Lac was built with a permanently docked casino, having to go out on the gangplank for this casino became undesirable. The buffet is cheaper than the other casinos but not as good either. There is really no reason to go to this casino. One plus, however is that some rooms have excellent views of downtown Lake Charles and the whole lake. I have a feeling it's time for them to either upgrade this facility or close it.

Kicked me out cause i was sober at 2 a.m. and me wasting money on a hotel hoom. Thanks. Love this craptastic place!!

Went during the day, it was nice and clean. They have a non-smoking section which was nice however we had to walk through the smoking section to get to it.

Smells little mouldey, lots of smoke but they have a non smoking area now. Tight machines. Feels little dirty.

The place was nice and clean. The people working there were friendly. Everyone looked like they were having fun.

Lost every dollar I put in the slots. They didn't return enough to keep me playing so I was done in just a few hours time. If they want to compete with the Big casinos they need to loosen up the slots a bit!!
