Not really sure what to make of this "park". It is really just a circular driveway/parking area with a breakwater/jetty to walk on and maybe fish from, launch area for a boat, and the smallest playground in the world. Pretty much just a slide. I do like to walk out onto the breakwater, but making your way to the breakwater can be difficult for some. There is a bit of climbing over rocks that are submerged in the bay depending on the tide. If you do want to spend time out there, check the tides so you don't get trapped. You can see Ponham Rocks Lighthouse from it in the distance across the bay. You can also see Conimicut Lighthouse and Nayatt Point Lighthouse if you walk off the breakwater to the right, which is a bit more of a difficult walk. One thing I don't understand is every time I come here, there are always people parked and just sitting in their cars in the small lot! What are they doing??
Near a small nice village area that has everything that is goodthe grove is used mostly during parades for entertainment and food tents. When they have the parade or just street vendors it is a nice place to sit and listen to music and people watch.
