Stopped by while Christmas shopping and was impressed by the variety of beautiful glass items they make. Really gorgeous. Not cheap, but for a one-of-a-kind gift from an artisan glass worker, there are some really nice things. Watched the make your own ornament session going on in the next room and would love to come back and try it sometime. Do stop in if you're in the area, it's worth a look.

This venue is worth your time in so many ways. First of all, its a historic firehouse that has been repurposed. Stop and admire it before you go in. Second, the shop is full of lovely affordable glass items. Third, there is an additional gallery upstairs with ever changing interesting shows. And last, there is real glass blowing, and if you plan ahead, you might be able to do a workshop.I stop here frequently, just to see what is new.

Stopped in Beacon for a quick bite and a rest from my trip up north. Much to my surprise, this quaint little town on the Hudson has a glass blowing operation and a shop/museum filled with hand made, original, unique, and beautiful glass vessels, jewelry, art pieces. Visual treats abound...Every color and hue of the rainbow. I have driven by this gem of a place two to four times a year, since my son settled in Boston & daughter in VT...never stopped before...boy was I missing a treat! Don't sail over that Newburgh Beacon Bridge...stop on the Beacon side & enjoy the offerings of the town, especially the Hudson Beach Glass shop!

This is a shop on Main Street in Beacon that makes and displays first class hand blown glass Items. They have beautiful items in every price range. They also offer the opportunity to make your own ornament!

We go to Beacon often and this is one of our favorite places. This time my friends from work came. 8 of us made an ornament. The staff is very informative and friendly. It was a great event and the items for sale are unique and beautiful.

We went to Hudson Beach Glass for the first time last weekend. We had a few time slots scheduled for the Make Your Own Ornament event. I had my senior parents make an ornament and I had my teenagers make an ornament. All four of them loved it. Even my teenagers, who had originally not been too excited to go there, loved it and said they would love to go back. The whole glass blowing process is truly amazing and fun to watch. it is even more amazing when you get to participate in it. I thought the $30 to make an ornament was very reasonable -- especially after I saw all that went into it. The items in the store are works of art in themselves and worth a visit just to browse the selection. The studio is in an old firehouse and is located on the main street of Beacon. It is fun to stroll the main street before/after Hudson Beach Glass for a cup of coffee, bakery, chocolate candy shop, cheese shop, vinegar store, etc. You can really plan a fun day starting with a visit to Hudson Beach Glass. We will definitely be back!
