Because the two handled mug I ordered last month was so beautiful, I ordered three more as stocking stuffers, and they just arrived on Christmas eve. If anything, they are even more beautiful than the first one.

We found this pottery shop in Salida, Co. The entire downtown area has the best shops and art galleries. I buy a piece of pottery on every trip but this shop had so many reasonable pieces that I got several pieces. There are also creative wooden art objects that are mobile and hand-blown glass.

We were lucky to get to watch the owner using the wheel for a few minutes; my daughter was thrilled and can't wait to go back to take a class. Lovely work, lots of variety in colors and types of pottery from local artists. Plenty of space for walkways as well.
