Visited curt today, and am excited to say it was a real colorful and interesting insight to medicine products from our past. Curt is passionate about what he is talking about and it makes the tour that more exciting. I can't wait to come back when he has the soda machine working. His knowledge and collection is worth the stop in. Thanks curt!!!!

Joe, Thank you for the kind review. The industrial revolution, yes starts in 1790 and last for many years. My reference was to the transcontinental railroad in the US as it expanded into the 20th century when the US became the world power. The apothecary in Engand probably was started in the 18th century and some items are from that period but many are later 19th century. I enjoyed looking at these pictures and deeply appreciate your thoughtfulness in sending them. I may never have the chance to go there and see the exhibit. Have a great New Year. Jane, So glad you enjoyed the tour! We just got the 1893 soda fountain I am sure I mentioned in the tour. It was quite an ordeal getting it here since it weighs almost a ton with all the marble, woodwork and mirror so I have another story to tell!
