Beautifully maintained, with a lot of character. Never felt rushed. It is definitely for the experienced golfer, as the fairways are tight and the rough is hard to get out of. The greens were magnificent! If ever in the area again, we will definitely play Lone Tree. Loved it.

Played a round of golf with relatives and enjoyed the course but it is challenging for a seldom golfer like myself. The course is part of the park system in the south Denver suburbs and should be priced a little lower with taxes supporting the parks and recreation district. The other courses in the system are nearly as nice and more reasonably priced. Maybe that's why there weren't many playing on the day we were there. My nephew and his wife from the Midwest stayed at the hotel for several days and were disappointed in the condition of the room. They felt it was aged and need some upgrading.

Great place, however the clientele are your average prickly new money suburban dweller. I am not sure where the attitude comes from as this is Colorado. I though the last recession cleaned out greedy and materialistic people like this, must be the last hold overs.

Good golf course but the cost to play is outrageous.. The green fees should not exceed40.00. The cart fee should be about 10 bucks per person. It is a nice track, but thegreen fees are way out of line ! No wonder the course always looks empty !

Lone Tree is a wonderful course with beautiful views from the back 9. Very nice pro shop, hotel and restaurant. Super facilities for any occasion.

Our daughter had her wedding at the Lone Tree Hotel. The food was excellent as well as the service. Also some of our family stay there when they visit Colorado.

The location is wonderful. The hotel is set on a quiet, beautiful golf course with a friendly staff. We stayed for 6 days and were very pleased with the accommodations. The room was a nice size and the bed and couch were comfortable. The refrigerator was perfect for what we needed and having the coffee pot and sink was very convenient. We would absolutely stay here again!

I played the worse nine holes of my life (so far) at this course, but I still had a good time. It's a beautiful course in a peaceful neighborhood setting. The bar/restaurant is nothing to write home about, but the course is well maintained and beautifully designed (at least the front nine).

My wife and I stayed here in September and found the experience just beautiful. The experience started the moment we entered the reception area. We were warmly welcomed, our golf tee-time was arranged immediately to suit us. Our room was just luxury personified. We had a beautiful balcony overlooking the course and practice area. When we checked into the Pro shop we were welcomed as old friends. The best recommendation I can give is that it is our intention to stay here again when next we visit fron Ireland.

My husband and I came up for a stay and play package. When we checked in, the front desk was warm and personable. She gave us each a golf package that had golf balls, tees, green marker and a divot tool. You could tell the building was older - but everything was exceptionally clean. All of the staff on hand was friendly. The golf course was beautiful. We are already talking about returning.

My company could not find any "name brand" hotel rooms in the area of Centennial airport for me and my flight crew. This was to be a 2 night stay that extended to 3. When I first learned we'd be staying at a Golf Club, I thought it might lack amenities that we are used to in a "business" hotel. I was wrong! The Lone Tree Golf Club and Hotel was built in the early '80's and has only 15 rooms, with approximately half overlooking the practice greens and several holes of the Arnold Palmer designed course. I was in a course-side room that was about 20 feet above ground level. The room, while somewhat dated with the early 80"s dark furniture, was very roomy. The bed was comfortable, but I would have preferred a down pillow in addition to the foam pillows used. My room was more of a mini-suite with a small bar area, microwave and refrigerator. It had plenty of work space with a desk and a very nice deck that overlooks the golf course. (We were experiencing more February-like weather than May-like during our stay with rain, snow and hail - sadly, the deck went unused). I also found the room to be very quiet, which can be unusual in a hotel, especially one that is somewhat of a "resort".The staff was very friendly, welcoming and accommodating! I ate 2 meals in the restaurant. Neither meal was outstanding (a taco salad that looked great but lacked the flavor to go with it, and a standard hot breakfast). That said, it is always a plus for me when I can get food on property. There are plenty of restaurants nearby (I highly recommend Via Baci for excellent, authentic Neapolitan pizza and some nice wine). There are no workout facilities on property. But the hotel provides complimentary access to the Lone Tree Recreational center, a 7min drive from the hotel. I had a chance to use this facility. It is very new, modern, and has everything you could want in a fitness / recreational center! But you do have to have a car to get there. The hotel provides no transportation.I wish I was a golfer. Had the weather been more inviting, I probably would have rented a set of clubs and hit a round of nine just to embarrass myself. The course looks beautiful, and is very well maintained.I can recommend this hotel - especially if you enjoy golf.
