I played in a golf outing here so I can't really speak to their regular customer service. I can speak to the condition of the course...which was great...and to the course layout which was very good. I am not sure that the course is open to the public since it is a resort course that offers golf memberships. I have never tried to schedule a tee time on my own.
Good personnel, got off right on time. Nobody behind or in front of us. We played around 4:30 on a weekday. Well tended. Nice 9-hole course- one of the better ones. Convenient, played in regulation time. On the downside it sometimes has learners and newbies and they take a little longer. Be patient. Everyone seems to really tolerant pf newbies. Not busy in the late afternoon. Not that difficult and doesn't play slow. Played there 4 times over the summer.
I have been a member here off and on for the past 15 years and I must say the course has returned to its stature as a fair but challenging course for all golfers. Not your typical easy resort or hotel course, this track will challenge you from the tips yet offers a fair test from the other tees. Water comes into play on roughly half of the holes. The bunkers have recently been vastly improved with new designs and soft, fluffy sand so beware...this will play like Florida! With the recent wonderful rains the course is in the best shape of the year. The grounds crew does a phenomenal job of keeping the course pristine. Beverage cart service is readily available which is not always the case on some courses. The attendants and clubhouse staff are super courteous and always ready to help with any special needs. Make sure you play more than one round.
If you want a fantastic place to eat lunch, try the hotels brunch at the golf course. Very convenient and easy to get to. Save room for dessert - you will want to try them all.
They have an amazing brunch, great golf, beautiful place, great place for events such as weddings, etc. would highly recommend.
Flew in for a friend's wedding, which was being held at the Inverness hotel. A group of us, including fathers' of the bride and groom, the groom and friends, decided to play a round of golf the day before the event (a Thursday). The course was virtually deserted (no suprise why). Unfortunate that an otherwise decent (not spectacular) course is staffed by jerks. Staff managing the course is rude and obnoxious (especially Chuck). Don't know why a golf course employee would feel the need to act smug and disrespectful to their guests, but apparently they feel they are doing their customer's a favor allowing them on the course. What should have been an enjoyable day was partly spoiled by the disrespect we were shown by the staff.
Ever since high school when I went to state for women's golf, I have always enjoyed a nice day at the range. The grass was green, the day was nice, I couldn't have asked for a better way to spend my day off
The Inverness Golf Course is beautiful and relaxing away from major traffic. Greens are very well kept, food is very good. But as usual you do pay for great service.
This was a great course, well maintained and a real challenge. Greens were in perfect condition. Pretty views thoughtout.
Challenging yet forgiving - we lucked out with a partly cloudy day and a cool breeze... I lost several balls in the abundant water hazards! Ha!
I was recently staying in Denver at the Inverness resort. I had hoped to play some golf and decided to give the course at the hotel a try. It was very well maintained and an overall good layout. The greens were nice and had a quick pace. With Club rental, hat, sleeve of balls, a glove and greens fees with cart $125. Pretty darn good deal.
We stayed and ate at the Inverness Golf Course. We were treated like royalty. Our suite was spacious and clean. They had a happy hour with excellent food and a lovely breakfast buffet.
We loved it! The golf course is in a parkland setting with gentle rolling fairways, beautiful manicured greens and well maintained property. There is plenty to challenge goflers between the layout over water, marshes, and creeks. The greens were demanding and easy to three put if not careful. Overall a fantastic golf experience.
This is a great golf course that winds through a business park on the outskirts of Denver. The course has plenty of challenge with some elevation changes, hazards both water and marsh. Greens initially seem slow but as the sun dries them out are much quicker. Overall a wonderful course that is in good condition and available at a very reasonable price. The GPS is helpful on knowing distances and hazards to avoid. The rough along the fairways and beside the greens is that crazy club grabbing rough that pulls shots in unusual directions. An exciting course for all levels of players.
My wife and I went in to inquire about playing a round of golf and the staff, in the pro shop, actually ignored us at first. After I finally got the attention of one of the staff, he was extremely rude and flippant to us. Apparently, the tee times were full for the day and they had little time for any interaction. He was on the computer and we must have been bothering him. I was going to inquire about the next day and the availability of tee times, but decided against it based on the treatment we received.
