fiddler's green amphitheatre

I been to Fiddlers green a few times over the years. I have seen HIM twice and last year finallywent to see my man Davey Havok of AFI. 30 seconds to Mars also played. The venue is nice and there is a great hotel across the street from it. My experience seeing AFI was amazing. Late on we went to Boston Market and in the morning the Bakery down the street from the venue.

This review is long over due since we saw The Zac Brown Band in September, but better late than never! Being new to Denver, this was our first time attending a concert at Fiddler's Green and it was great. We were lucky enough to have tickets in a suite, which was fairly close to the stage, so we had a great vantage point for the concert. The suite also came with a waiter so we didn't have to wait in line for food or drinks.The venue itself was easy to find, parking was easy, the line to get in to the concert moved very fast and even the bathroom lines moved quickly! It was a beautiful fall evening and Zac Brown was awesome. I would definitely come back again to catch another concert here. That being said, it isn't Red Rocks, but nothing can compare to that venue, theses are completely different and both great!

I have been to many concerts through the years to this venue and liked it a lot due to it's south suburbs location off of I-25 and Orchard, and easy parking. Now, not so fun. I was excited to get a great deal on a Groupon for Santana and Rod Stewart, as the press had been raving about their recent six million dollar renovations. When I got my tickets, the ticket window opened fifteen minutes later than posted.All I witnessed on this visit, was ridiculous prices for parking in the nearby lots, hard core security guard,s except for when you needed them to get GA drunks from taking over the row of empty seats in front of me, and the acoustics were not worthy of someone's hard earned money. I did however, like the new multi-media technology that the artists could use on the stage which made the creaky, old, bad sounding Rod Stewart look good. The new layout of the massive bathrooms are hard to get to and hope that you are not in a hurry.

This was my first concert here and overall was a good experience. Obviously it's outdoors so weather could be a factor. I didn't sit on the lawn but it looked like it'd be annoying as its a pretty steep slope. Seats were good even with me and my wife being a bit shorter. There are smoking areas but realize that most will ignore that and you may be getting clouds drifting around of different varieties. Like all events, the drinks are very spendy ($9 for 20oz draft of lite beer). Parking is a pain, $20 to park in a restaurant parking lot nearby.

It was a LAME experience for a rock concert. Crowd control like gestapo, No dancing, stay in your seat and pay 9.00 for a beer. Acoustics good but not a fun experience.

Parking is kind of a pain, but the venue is right off the highway, which is nice. People flow is decent for dealing with that many people. Environment is cool. Sound is good. Seats are much better than being on the green! Pay the extra.

It's no Red Rocks but really not fair to compare. Fiddlers is a very nice venue and built so you can enjoy the show from almost anywhere. While our lawn seats were fine, next time we will definitely upgrade to the reserved section with seats. The lawn area was great for people watching but near the end just feels gross. There was a person passed out behind us before the main act went on, some girl walked by us vomiting in a cup, and empty food containers and bottles everywhere. For a sell out show it gets packed in so people are constantly bumping into you. True at most places but the food and drinks are very expensive and bring cash. While fiddlers doesn't have the natural beauty of red rocks, you can't complain about watching a show under the stars.

Just went to the Raise-em-up tour Urban, Neiman, Eldredge and was very impressed by the event staff and venue. Sound and view great from all seats (unless your behind a tall person that insists on standing):). Expect long lines and normal event costs as you should for any venue that has the capability to occupy 18,000 people. Would definitely return. Suggestions: Map out your parking ahead of time as there are several businesses that offer free parking. Expectations: lots of people, event drink $$$ and the smell of weed.

Because of its location Fiddlers has a Sound Pressure Level cap and limited hours. It seems that at times artists are just hitting their stride and these limitations tie them down. Also, it can be a traffic nightmare. Not my favorite concert venue...

One may start out a bit confused when having to pay $20 for parking and it is in a public lot. But, the feelings change as you enter the amphitheater and see all the seats (with backs) and the tons of blankets covering the lawn. Good views of the stage all around helped by big screens. Food booths are good but many are cash only and food and refreshments are expensive. Yet again, concerts are no longer that affordable.

I attended the Santana/Rod Stewart concert. I read on the website that umbrellas, food, lawn chairs were not allowed in. However, once inside there were plenty of people who brought these items in. Plenty of weed was brought in too.

If you're looking for an outdoor venue that offers great sound and beautiful evening skies, this is the place to be. If you're looking to pay over $8.00 for a beer or drink, stand in long lines for food, being herded out after the concert like cattle, and spend another 30 minutes getting out of he parking area, this is also the place to be.

We went to Bruno Mars last night at Fiddler's Green and had a great time. We had lawn "seats" (blanket on the ground) and could see the stage and the sun setting over the mountains. They have big screens so you can actually see the artist perform no matter where you are sitting. Bruno put on an awesome show! The only thing to be sure to do is pay attention to where you park. Fiddler's Green is set within a business park and in the dark can be a bit confusing once you leave (in the dark.) There were a lot of people wandering around in the dark trying to find their vehicles. Thankfully we found ours! Nice small/medium venue.

Fiddler's Green now has several food trucks at their concerts. This helps eliminate the longlines at the concession stands. The food off the trucks is ten times better than the concession stands food. My favorite food truck was East Coast Joes. Fresh lobster flown in from Maine.

I pay good money for tickets, they have volume control & a curfue. This is a concert venue ? ? Red Rocks is the best place for a show
