My husband and I stopped here on our way to St Louis. It had a beautiful location and building. Even though they were setting up for a wedding reception, they were friendly and were eager to give us tastings. The wines were a bit disappointing, though. We left empty handed, but it was worth the trip to taste.

I visited the winery with a group of friends and had dinner on the veranda overlooking a beautiful lake and wooded hills. The surroundings were idyllic. We ordered 2 pizzas, and tortilla chips with artichoke dip. We also had a couple bottles of wine. If I were the owner/cook at this winery, I would be embarrassed to serve the food we had. Undercooked pizzas that weren't even as good as a frozen pizza at home. The tortilla chips were glistening with oil, and flavorless. I'm not super picky, but I had very little to eat. The positives: the wait staff was friendly, and the building and grounds were very nice. If this place had good food, it could be a top attraction.
