One of the wow stopping points in Bryce canyon, worth a photo. It's about half way along. Best tip is to drive to top of canyon then make stops it overlooks on the return South to North.
Don't miss Natural Bride NP when being in the area. It's not as famous as Bryce Canyon or others, but it's definitly worth the trip. Like most natural Areas we have visited in the USA, it is not an exhausting hike, but a nice walk in nature.
When you look at this canyon, and this bridge, it makes you want to ask Mother Nature, "How did you do this?"
Bridges are formed in rock by streams or rivers, so this actually qualifies as an arch or window. But technicalities on the side this is definitely a worthwhile stop. A unique formation and view of Bryce with no hike required to see this cool geologic feature.
Sometimes is no words that can explain the feeling wen you encounter Nature on this kind of expression. It is simply Amazing
This was close enough to the scenic highway in Bryce that you can stop, take the pictures & get back to your car. Beautiful view. Am glad there was no trail as I might not have stopped if it was. All in all a beautiful different view of the canyons.
This part of Bryce stands out as different because it is not a hoodoo. The formation is so close to the parking area that I was tempted to scale the "bridge". (Spoiler alert: it is actually a window) on the scenic drive, so no reason not to stop.
I was surprised when we drove up on this and we didn't have to hike at all. We could have stayed much longer. However we trying to get back to cabin for breakfast since we left early to take sunrise pictures.
We drove down here after stopping at many of the other points to take in the views. We almost didn't take the drive but were glad we did. It is quite beautiful to see.
great views, don't miss it. Sunrise is the best time, but nice any time. better with your own car....................................................
Very interesting for someone from Florida. I really enjoyed all of the park. It was so different from Home I wish we had come here 50 years ago when I could climb. It's not as much fun in a wheelchair.
Hiking the rim and then dropping into the canyon is the way to go. Wear good hiking shoes and a brimmed hat. Bring a water bottle, salty snacks and lunch. Be aware that the rain showers can happen in the afternoon. Get off the rim when it's lightening. This is a beautiful park well worth the stop. Just wish it had a Native name rather than one of a serial Mormon homesteader passing through.
Unreal view, worth the drive. I would make sure to stop here, if you are planning a trip into Bryce Canyon.
Natural Bridge is a must! It's worth stopping to see along the way. We were overcome with the beauty and peacefulness of Bryce Canyon.
We did a tour of all the important stopping places in Bryce by car, because it was late April and the park was open to vehicular traffic. It was so nice that we could see the right from the parking lot. I highly recommend stopping here.
