prairie view golf links

I have played the course 8 or 9 times and its just great for the quality of the layout for the price. The Scottish links layout is really well done and the course plays fast so it really does play a true links style. The course is exposed to the wind which please defense against the golfers....as it should be for this style of golf. I play golf all over the united states and its a great little gem that if you get to Worthington you should play.....

My husband and I aren't avid golfers, but we like to go out a couple of times a year. I know golf isn't a cheap hobby, but it doesn't seem like an afternoon of golf for two people should cost $60, especially when we were using a buy-on-get-one coupon. There's not much for amenities and not much in the way of scenery. Maybe I just don't appreciate the links style of course.

Nice, Scottish style course. No trees however, so if it's a hot day bring an umbrella or something else to protect yourself.

Good enough golf course, cheap and uncrowded. The wind is the primary defense and in my experience it is always windy in this part of Minnesota. You'll like it - good for the money.

I played Prairie View Golf Links in the fall and I would like to say I thoroughly enjoyed the experience. It is a unique course of Scottish design with all of the signature features. The long grass areas are well placed and they have a few pot bunkers that have three feet high lips. It is nice to play a course that is well thought out and well maintained. At the time we were there the course was in beautiful shape and the staff was very friendly. They have a Monday special worth checking out.
