My brother in law was married here and also had his rehearsal dinner here. Food was outstanding, service was wonderful and overall they did a fantastic job. The wedding party arrived 3 hrs before the ceremony to do pictures and such, they had food, bartender, waitstaff, all there to assist us. Hope to attend another function there!

First of all, we had 16 golfers starting at 11:00. The driving range wasn't open till 11:00. Why is that? The bar wasn't open till 11:30. Why is that? Seems to me if your trying to attract golf outings, you need to have the cocktails flowing and a place to warm up. Anyway, the golf course was in great condition and we had a lot of fun. Afterwards we returned to the now OPEN bar area and the hamburgers were GREAT! Service was quick and we had some good drinks. All in all every was friendly and I believe we might return next year... if everything is open for this drunken crowd of golfers.

We have been house members for two years -- sadly, we don't play golf :( Could not be happier with our membership. Lovely dining areas, excellent food , friendly staff. This area of the Jersey shore is very popular and can get quite busy during the summer months so it is nice to relax at beautiful Greate Bay.

Greate Bay, not so much. We ate in the bar after a round of golf. The building from the outside makes u think it's gonna be grand. The bar was from the 1980's. the food and service were mediocre at best. Just moved to the area.....would I join this club?? Um, no!!!!

The golf course is a nice course, playable and staff very friendly.Dining is wonderful as well. The Pub offers great drinks at reasonable prices as is the food, not fancy but good quality. The hubby and I like the Park Room as well, get a little dressed up and enjoy a nice dining experience. Love that they bring complimentary spreadable cheese with bread and crackers. They have a nice lobster special and also prime rib, again fairly reasonable.We enjoy Greate Bay as a wonderful refuge from the shore crowds!

Day makes the best "Perfect Storm", so much so that I carried her recipe with me to Florida and only one out of perhaps 20 bartenders could make the drink properly. By the way the only other is Jan at Casa Marina in Key West. Ask for it by name and be prepared for the most indulgent rum drink in the world!

Have been playing this golf course for over 40 years. Have seen many changes but in recent years with the ownership and management this course and country club continue to move in the right direction. The attention to detail and customer service is top notch. The staff is very friendly and knowledgeable always will ing to help and assist you with all your needs. This is a great family club and all members not only enjoy the course but also the friendly atmosphere in the Pub and restaurant.

My husband and I recently played Greate Bay Golf Course with some friends and was very impressed with the condition of this course. Many challenging holes but fun to play. Afterwards had dinner in the pub and enjoyed a delicious dinner. We love the convience of being so close to Ocean City. We highly recommend this golf course.

My niece Cindy had her wedding reception at this establishment after a beach wedding in Ocean City NJ. In the early morning hours of the wedding day, a truly historically devasting storm moved into the area and just leveled tree, power lines and just about everything in its path. In the process, the power was knocked out in Somers Point where Greate Bay is located. The staff persevered and prepared to have an outdoor reception and later, an indoor reception. The power came back on at 3:30 PM and some two hours later- the reception was in full swing. Food and drink were excellent and all of the guests seem to agree that it was a small miracle that the kitchen was able to pull dinner off at all. Staff was very professional and calm despite the devastation just down the road. They literally saved my niece Cindy's wedding. Greate Bay- thank you. We would highly recommend this establishment for any special event. The best.

Our daughter's wedding reception was planned at Greate Bay Country Club for Saturday, June 30th, 2012. The country club and the entire surrounding county experienced an historic and devastating storm in the very early AM hours on that date. The power was out at the country club, as it was in nearly every community in the surrounding areas. Despite the fact that the country club's employees were coming to work on a day when many of them had to leave behind homes in chaos and drive around downed trees and wires,etc. they worked so hard in high heat to ensure that our daughter and new son-in-law had the reception of their dreams. The staff contacted 30-40 other facilities to see if they could let Greate Bay use their space to accomodate our party. However, everything was booked. When it became apparent that the power was not going to be restored in time for the planned 5:00 o'clock reception they offered to set it up outside under large tents with large fans and generators to power the DJ. We agreed that this was the only alternative to postponing the whole reception. At about 2:00 the staff went ahead and set up outside for a reception of 160 people. Just as our wedding ceremony was starting on the beach in Ocean City we were told that the power was back on at the country club!! Their staff then broke everything down and set it all up inside in time for our guests arrival. Moreover, Nicole stayed positive and optimistic during her exchanges with our daughter and tried her very best to not upset the bride. When we were having a wonderful time in this beautiful facility, Nicole, Tammy and the entire staff were so kind and professional. The food was also terrific! We would recommend Greate Bay any time. They were the BEST!

"Semi" private club not worth the $15/month social membership to have dining "privileges." If you know a member get them to have you play as a guest; beautifully maintained course but head out to the Crab Trap for dining or 19th hole libations. Banquets are safe if there's no place else available but for the price you can usually do better.

Not just golf it's fun. Great food! Wonderful place for families and friends. SHOPRITE LPGA CLASSIC PLAYED TOURNAMENT FOR 10 years.
