This review is for a memorable stay around 4 years ago. I was there during the week, stayed in the "I Love Lucy" suite, which was truly remarkable. The room was huge, had a 50's kitchenette and a wonderful, deep, modern tub of natural mineral water. The courtyard was lovely and I was able to easily converse with other people staying there. The only glitch was that my room backed up to an alley next to an auto parts store and sometime during the evening, a truck parked pretty close to my window and the men inside started unloading products into the store shed. I stayed sometime in the springtime, as I recall, and my windows were open. I would recommend this or the La Paloma because of their close proximity to restaurants and shops just a couple of blocks away.

The tubs are wonderful, the setting comfortable and attractive and the staff is great. What's not to love? An especially nice place to be in January on an off-day when it's cold and rainy.

We rented their special soaking room with the fountain, sauna, and soaking tub for an hour. It has plenty of room and was great for three people. There is also a shower that can be used after the soaking. Towels and bathing items are supplied. It was super relaxing as well as very private. It is a great place to unwind and escape the worries and stresses or life.We will return when we are in T or C.

We were impressed with the interesting reuse of this old motor lodge. The Jetson room was large and perfectly appointed. We used the kitchen every morning and bathed in the tub several times a day. The wet room can be booked for a fee during the day and has a great pool, sauna and shower. We enjoyed sitting on the patio just outside our room looking at the artfully grown native plants and tiny water pools for the birds in the evening.

I really like this place. It's clean. The beds are comfy (even the Murphy bed in The Twilight Zone room). The baths/showers in the rooms are wonderful and the wet room is fabulous! For the price, you can't beat it. I have stayed in 3 of the rooms and they are all clean and comfortable. The staff is pleasant and willing to make your stay nice.

I have been to the Blackstone 5 or 6 times and been very pleased. The tubs are fantastic The bedding is fresh and the beds are very comfortable. I plan on lots more stays. I have stayed in most of the rooms except the Twilight zone and the studio. All very tastefully done.

This is a wonderful place to rest and rejuvenate. Perfect for honeymoons, anniversaries, birthday and a weekend get away. The price is right for the luxury of these rooms and the private hot spring baths. The service is always excellent. We have been going to Blackstone for years now and have stayed in every room. We can't even pick a favorite room because they are all that wonderful with individual themes from pre 1986. It is our favorite get away and Love it. Highly recommend it.

Rooms on the main property each have private in-room bathing features, and Guest Bungalow lodgers can soak for free in either of our 2 historic baths between 9am and 9pm. So - everyone gets to soak as part of their stay, but the Wet Room is always an add-on cost. Thought we'd best clarify since you weren't sure. The rooms were attractive, with the themes held to to the extent possibe. We had a hot tub (artesian water) in our room. Nice to soak entirely in private without having to go somewhere. The TV was nothing to brag about. The wet room (at additional cost) was very cool also.

I liked the private baths in the room and the rooms are decorated in a very stylish with a theme on each room.

Great to have a hot spring tub in your room. Really is a good value. The tubs are big enough to sit in and have them come over your shoulders. Not to repeat what others have said, here are some other things.We stayed in the Babloo. Around 3 in the morning there are some trucks loading or unloading for the car parts store right behind the room.- The wet room with steam room wasn't worth the money for us. The steam room is truly unique with the water cascading in from the top. But we had a tub in our room. It isn't all that spendy if you pay in advance but why spend the money.- The beds were comfy and the place was roomy enough with a separate kitchenette, bathing/bathroom, and bed room.- The satellite tv allowed for some music.- The people running the place were great.- There is quite the artsy, new age, ex-hippy feel to parts of town and so is this place.- There is a walking trail that follows the river, don't miss it.

This was one of the most confortable stays I have had in a long time. The only issue was the lack of Internet access in the Bungalow. I should have stayed close to the office. The Mineral Hot Springs were very private and wonderfully HOT! I would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Very relaxing - love the spa in our own room. Plan to go again! Enjoyed!! Plan to check in as early as you can & check out as late as you can to get the entire time.

Took our visiting family there for overnight, and enjoy the hot baths in the rooms. It is a great natural ambiance which is very fitting to the decor. Not your everyday hotel.
