The mall is ok at best. The mall generally has a funky smell to it and just isnt very appealing. The store selection is not great better off going to midlands if possible. But there is an upside when they have musicians there that is a nice attraction.
Like most other malls. Lots of clothing stores.More teenagers than adults.Does have a carousel and ice skating rink inside.
I stopped by to shoe shop after eating at a nearby restaurant. It is a small older mall, but something to do in Odessa if the weather is not pleasant. I did find some items on sale in Dillards, so it was a successful visit for me
So i moved here to Odessa a few years ago and i have been to many malls around the country. This is by far one of the worse. There is old nasty smelly carpet throughout the mall along with cheesy cheap shops. There is a bar inside the mall that is OKAY but it would be better if it was NOT in the mall. My advice....drive 15 minutes and go to the Midland Mall. It is MUCH nicer.
We always park here at the Burlington coat factory parking lot We stop there fist buy some stuff or toys for the kids or some times is just a habit of parking here . But the mall is big and its got all you need if your more in to Aeropostale and AE You need to go to the mall in Midland is not that far you take 191 the. Loop 250 turn left on it and follow the sings I think is loop 250 and Midkiff road. I hope you guys have a good shoping time here or in midland.
We loved this mall! There were play areas for kids on both sides of the mall as well as an ice skating rink. We walked around the mall and shopped with happy, interested kids! Later we took them to the ice skating rink for a few hours of absolute excitement. When the ice skating rink closed, we sat in the food court and watched a hockey game while the youngest played in the play area. Loved this mall!
The Music City Mall has been brought back to life by the oil boom and seems to be thriving. It has your typical anchor stores: JC Penney's, Dillard's and Sears, a theater, bar/restaurant for after hours. One of the things that stands out is the ice skating rink, we went on a Saturday morning and they were having ice hockey practice-a novelty for a location in the middle of the desert! It was nice to only see a few vacancies and the addition of Fuddruckers since my last visit was a bonus. Also, a mom & pop shop Golden Brass was still there-they have a big collection of furniture but also collectables and a variety of novelty items. Not a bad mall for the size of the town and conveniently located on 42nd Street, between Tanglewood and JBS Parkway.
