This is a nice park located in the older section of Frisco. They have nice family and kids area along with a fishing pond and running or walking trails. I generally run thru the park several times a month due to the trails and facilities. I always see family functions being held and families just hanging out together. A nice feature is the kids water area where they can play in the sidewalk water fountains. Last year a kids playground area was added and the Frisco area residents helped to build and make a reality. Nice park. Enjoy

Always clean and safe, the trails are lined with many trees and benches! A great place to take a stroll, run, or ride a bike!

I was recently in Frisco for a family event, we had 4 kids between the ages of 3-6 who were going stir crazy in the house so we decided to take them out for some exercise and fun. Frisco Commons (and specifically Hope Park) was highly recommended by my in-laws who lived nearby, so we gave it a try. It was a bit chilly (we went in December), but the kids warmed up quickly running around to all the park's monkey bars, swings, climbs, etc.Frisco Commons looks like a great resource for the families of Frisco. There is a nice war memorial (with an amphitheatre), and a nice little pond. There are some running trails, and lots of walking trails and open space. There is also abundant shaded picnic areas, and a splash pad that looked like fun (but that was closed due to the time of year). But the gem of the commons is definitely Hope Park.Hope Park is enormous, and it is designed to be accessible and fun for all children. There are numerous activities for children of all ages, and that can be used by children with special needs. It is a very modern park, it has a lot of traditional activities (see-saws, swings, merry-go-round, etc.) that have really cool modern updates, and it also has a lot of cutting-edge climbing activities and monkey bars (and a few climbing walls). We stayed for about 2 hours, and had to drag the kids back to the car to leave. One other thing that I liked about Hope Park is that there is only one entrance/exit..It wasn't an issue for us, but if you're there on a crowded day and you're trying to manage multiple kids, you can at least "control the bottleneck" to make sure nobody runs off without you. There is a lot of family-friendly stuff to do in Frisco (MLS soccer, minor league hockey, minor league baseball), but if you want to get your kids outside and active, I would definitely recommend a trip to Hope Park and Frisco Commons.

This is a gem of a place in Frisco TX. The playground is second to none! In all honesty, you have to keep a close watch on your kids because there is so much square footage with play equipment. In addition, there is a large concrete walking path around a man made pond with plenty of space for relaxing. My only complaint is the bathrooms. The place is well maintained until you have to go into the bath house. So dirty with very little light. Kind of scary. My suggestion is for the city of frisco to invest a little in nicer facilities. That is why I did not give 5 circles.

not too bad, was in a hurry so didn't stay long, but had to see what was there seeing we were in the area

A surprising little find. This site even hosts a special place for all access playing. Take the time to walk up the hill to the picnic area and then go around the trail at the pond and beyond. Lovely!

Nice design/ layout for parents with little kids. There is only one outlet so you can sit down and relax at the bench without losing your kids. There is a spacious padded floor area perfect for the little ones. will come back there again when it is cooler.
