museum of anthropology

One of my favorite places on the MU campus. The Museum of Anthropology has excellent exhibits. Great for school aged kids and adults and a wonderful learning experience. Kudos to MU for your efforts.

A great place to take budding artists for a short museum tour. Not so overwhelming as a large museum. Just right for a 30-60 minute look.

Not your typical museum. A good place to take a middle school or high school age youth for peeking their interest in Greek Mythology or history.

The museum is tucked away in a small area. The items they have on display are well organized, but it would be nice if they could expand. I'm sure the college has more items that could be displayed if the space were available.

My family loves this museum! What a treat for everyone! We are very lucky to have this in Columbia. Go and visit!

The museum has many exhibits worth browsing through. Since I live in Columbia, I have visited the museum several times over the years, and I notice something different every time I go there! I recommend that you take your time, as there is a lot to see. Also, I love their gift shop, where the inventory keeps changing, and where there is something for every budget.
