Since Myrtle Beach doesn't have a Macy's, I visited the Macy's here at Twelve Oaks Mall and the entire mall is very large and Macy's was very accommodating for an exchange.
Lots of stores but you have too many rude teens making the experience not so fun anymore. This last time, I got in, bought what I went there for and got out right away. It doesn't mother of the kids have money or pretend they do, they are all rude. Many don't even live nearby but they feel the need to go to others areas, cause trouble then go home. Security seems afraid to enforce good manners so I just stay away. Since Northland is closing, Fairlane is unsafe and Westland is hopeless, it's hard to find a nice, safe and enjoyable mall in the area.
My 11 year old daughter loves Sephora Sketcher store and Lush. My oldest likes Hot Topic and GameStop. We all love Teavanna!! Lots of places to shop and eat can spend hours here!!
Looks giant from the outside but manageable even with kids. Clean with a large assortment of mid to high end shops. If you park near the Cheesecake Factory there is valet parking for $5.00. Well worth the trip from surrounding areas.
This mall offers something for everyone young and old, designer style or no style. Plenty of dining experiences. Macy's café or Cheesecake factory, and many in between. You can make a day of it by taking a cooking class at Sur la Table and just store to store shopping. There are also a ton of stores and restaurants in the nearby shopping plazas beyond the mall.
This was my first visit to twelve oaks mall because of the new addition of the Gaarret's popcorn store. The mall is beautiful and has everything . Don't know why I hadn't visited before . Well it's a little far from my house , but worth the trip for the many many stores and the popcorn. Will definitely go back
Went to this mall to find recital attire for my son. Found everything we needed at Macy's except for pants since he is very tall. They suggested Nordstrom and we found a pair that fit after "while you wait " alterations which were free. Friendly folks, clean mall with a nice selection of stores.
This is probably the only safe place to go in all of Detroit/ Southfield. Located in Novi which is within a 30 min. Drive of the above locations. Has probably a hundred shops located inside. Really! Anything from Macy's to Justice for kids to a Guess store which is normally one of my favorite. (This one was sort of small) Other than the size of that particular store, this mall is amazing! Good security! Friendly staff at every shop I stopped! Lots of sales which made it even better! A good size food court. Both high end and low end shops to choose from! Additionally a couple nice set down restaurants to choose from for good food and drinks if you want. Lots of parking and easy to get to. I would go back if I ever go back to Detroit. Which I hope I never do! Lol
This place is no longer the rallying cry for the community. It's cookie cutter design has been copied almost as often as Your DNA: maybe some of the shoppers find that to be helpful. The indoor nature is helpful during bad weather. The young, and the foolish, still travel here, to look for love...HOW ROMANTIC!
Not Much supply. Terrible selection. No Kohl's. Needs some improvements and renovations. Needs more shoes. Needs more shoe stores. Needs Old Navy to come in to the mall.
It's been several years since I lived in the area and it was nice to see how this shopping center has kept up with the times. Expanded anchor stores and many smaller retailers. Twelve Oaks is kept very clean as well.
I came here on a Tuesday afternoon and was shocked by how crowded this mall was. Other than that, this mall has a nice, upscale feel to it. Very nice stores. Overpriced, but that is any mall in America.
I've been shopping at Twelve Oaks Mall for years. The mall is located in a nice, upscale area. They got Nordstrom, Macy's, Lord & Taylor. Also lot's of brand name stores. I visited this mall today. Stopped at Macy's, Lord & Taylor, White House Black Market & Chico's. Found some good deals on Ralph's Lauren at Macy's & on Karen Kane at Lord $ Taylor. Both had good clearance/sale section. Had a very pleasant experience at White House Black Market Women's Boutique. I also stopped at Chico's Women's Boutique. The experience I had there was one of the worst I ever had in my life. I walked in and started browsing. It was just one other shopper in the whole store plus me. Tina (the lady who works at the store) totally ignored me and that other shopper, even though she was not helping anyone else. I had to set up my own fitting room, since she would not assist me. I could use some help in finding sizes, but she still would not help. When I approached to the register, she still did not say a word. I thought maybe she can not speak or hear and felt sympathetic. But then I heard the other shopper asked her for her name. She asked : " Why do you want to know? " I knew than that she can speak and hear perfectly. She is just being rude and doesn't want to work. How do I know her name? It was printed on my receipt. I only purchased one item. I wasn't able to find some of the items I was looking for. If you like Chico's store, one in Rochester Hills would be the best to shop at. They have good customer service. If you in Okemos, MI, I highly recommend one there. Anyway, speaking of Twelve Oaks Mall, they got a decent food court. I had "Zoup". Service there wasn't that efficient as at other Zoup locations I have visited, but wasn't too bad either. There are some other good dining options inside the mall and also outside.
