The seating holds about 100 guests. The seats are fabulous with lots of leg room. The show is outstanding. Available for private parties.
This was the coolest place I've ever been for a wedding. Close to the DoubleTree Hotel. Wheelchair accessible. Easy to get around in. The stars, fireworks, and graphics were an excellent touch to the wedding ceremony. The wedding party walked in on each side of the planetarium joining in the front of the chairs. Taking pictures out in the lobby area was easy and lovely.
the show was good and they staff was very informative and you could tell they enjoyed what they did.
A great venue in the middle of the city. Comfortable and clean, it offers great entertainment suited to your group. 360 screen puts you right in the show! Beware those that have motion issues...
The Delta College Planetarium is really great! I've seen a number of different educational films there, and have been impressed with the technology. Young children will especially enjoy it, as it is often very interactive.
We visited during the Tall Ships Festival. We saw the Mysteries of the Great Lakes movie. We were both offended that the show was promoting a stance casting a lot of blame that people are destroying the great lakes and trying to put forward a "climate change" agenda. I would never take a child to a show there based on our experience because I would not want them exposed to a skewed "leftist" message. The planetarium itself is a nice venue. Stick to planetarium star shows.
Went to the planetarium for a show. It was very interesting. They offer different shows so you could go back multiple times. I feel like they could advertise a little more I feel like I have to search for information. I think I would go more if I was reminded of the planetarium somehow.
We went to see a holiday show. It had christmas music. this show was great for any age. We are planning for more shows. "Stars" "Molecularium" and others.
We thought after seeing information on the plantetarium on line that it would be interesting and fun. Never been to one before. They have one showing a day. Just one and in the summer they said when we went inside they only have children shows, with kiddy characters. Wish there brochure would have mentioned that to us. The shows in the summer are for kids around 4 , 5 years old.
only open on wednesdays and saturdays..right next to my hotel and couldnt even enjoy it
Beautiful presentation. Relaxing, view the stars from a comfortable, air conditioned, auditorium seat.
This place is a state-of-the-aret planetarium, classrooms, owned by Delta College. THer eis a gift shop;, they show different shows for different audiences.. Children's shows a lot when school is on vacation, holidays,, but also regular scientific, but very easy to understand personally narrated shows for adults. There is an age limit to keep it quiet for paying audience. Price is under or about $5,, shows usually last about 45 minutes or so.. very well-worth the $$. Delta students get a discount by showing their student ID card!!
Can't get enough of the 360 degree roller coaster!
Great place to learn more about our stars and solar system. Good for families.
Fun place for the kids, I have been there on several fields trips and the staff is generally in a kid-friendly mood. I have also been then once on a more serious showing, they gave the show, and then we went on the roof to see an eclipse. It's a great resource if your in the area and a good rainy day alternative to the movie theater.
