mocean waverunners

There are not many choices of places to rent jet skis/waverunners in the Wildwoods. We checked out the three options, and decided to try Mocean because they had the best prices. If you go to their web site, they often have "specials'. Even if you can't print out the coupons, they will honor the deal if you tell them you saw it when you call to reserve. We rented two waverunners, one single and one for my two teenagers. You have to be 16 with a driver's license to drive one, and my son was not old enough. He rode with his older sister. They give you a quick safety lesson before taking you out on their boat to the area on the back bay where you can use the waverunners. We were there on a day when there was a lot of chop to the water (storm coming the next day) and right as the tides were changing. So, part of the way through our hour, the area we were able to use was reduced for safety. You don't want to run aground. No problem. We still had plenty of area to play in! We got soaked immediately, but there is nothing like speeding at 45-50 mph across the water! My kids fell off twice, and the staff immediately hopped on their jet ski to make sure they were okay. They keep two staff members at the mooring dock at all times to make sure you stay safe. We would highly recommend this to anyone looking for something a little different to do in the Wildwoods.
