This park has all you need when you want to get outside. There are a few miles of walking trails that run through the woods and by some water features, including wooden bridges and chipped paths. There is a rather large reservoir in the middle of the park that attracts waterfowl, but does not allow swimming/skating/boating. The deer run rampant through the park and don't seem to mind the people too much. There is a disc gold course here that is seeing some improved maintenance over the past year or so. It used to be hard to find some tees and the woods were scrambled. Now the course is more clearly marked and cleaned up. In the summer months the park offers weekly music in the pavilion and they host several other events throughout the year. There are bathrooms, water fountains and parking available in the park. There is also a basketball court, playground, soccer fields and a community garden on site.
