Great place for families. Right on the lake. Awesome to watch the fireworks over the lake. Very well kept and police patrolled during major events. Many facilities, picnic tales, bathrooms, etc.

On the south shore of Lake Winnebago, Lakeside Park is a great place to walk along the lakeshore, picnic, have a big gathering at one of the shelters or a wedding at the gazebo. Its a large park and also great for birdwatching.

This park is on the largest inland lake and is such a treat, any time of the year. The flower beds in the summer are so artfully designed and well taken care of. Every season has its own beauty. There are many areas to rest and watch the water, the boats, the geese and ducks. There is something for every age. For the holiday season of Christmas, the park is so brightly decorated and one must drive through the park to take it all in. At the north end of the park, is a fun light show set to holiday tunes and characters to be enjoyed by old and young alike. You can also climb inside the light house in the summer, and get a real birds eye view of the beauty surrounding it. It is a must to see.

We are very fortunate to have such a nice park in the city of Fond du Lac. In the spring time, it is a great place to fish from the shore. In the summer time, it is a great place to take your children to the playgrounds. The fireworks for the 4th of July are also a lot of fun to watch at the park. There is also a nice little zoo, some kiddie rides and a little train. The fall colors are wonderful. The Christmas light displays, one of which is set to music, such as the Trans Siberian Orchestra, are a must for our family. It is worth the visit.

Especially at the holidays. When we visit, this is a must! Every evening we drive up Park Avenue go through the park (including the yacht club!) and then drive back out down Main Street.The Light Show set to music the past few years has been fabulous and we hope they're able to keep that going for the future.

I always attend Walley Weekend in Lakeside Park in early June every year. This park offers everything for attendees. I love Lake Winnebago which the park borders on the north side. This park is a "gem" in Fond du Lac. I can only say that Lakeside Park is a place you should visit soon.

We have one of the best parks around. Living near the lake it's just a short bike ride to get to and we enjoy the bike trails in and around the area. Fond du Lac's (foot of lake) Lakeside Park is now decorated for Christmas with many lights and an electronic lights and music presentation that comes on at dusk. In nice weather you can climb to the top of the lighthouse, walk around the deer pen and enjoy the fountain and bandstand area. There's plenty of activity for the kids with the playground equipment and in June you can enjoy "Art on the Island" and "Walleye Weekend."

This is an area of incredable natural lake swe were up here to take our daughter to summer camp. It is such a beautiful area I wanted to stay too.

anytime of year. if you're around during Christmas, you have to go at night and check out the light displays. Place is fun in the summer too.

One of the nicest parks around for beauty and multiple uses. Well cared for by the city and volunteers who keep flowers going all spring through fall and the Christmas scenery is wonderful.

This place is amazing. Beautiful and lots for the kids to do! Don't miss the little rides, the petting zoo and the Lighthouse!

This is a great family place. You can ride the carousel, or climb the lighthouse. There is an old locomotive to look at. There is food available. What a beautiful lake.

This park seems to be virtually unknown to many outside the Lake WInnebago area. It's worth discovering--a beautiful little oasis north of downtown, nestled on the south shore of the lake. We love taking friends up to the top of the lighthouse (free) to take in the gorgeous view. The gardens and kids' rides are wonderful.
