It truly is a living museum! Not only do they have many displays of the military and various wars, but you can speak with veterans that hang out there. One of the Vets I met was a B-29 bomber pilot. Cool!They also provide some services for veterans, like internet.If all you want is some coffee, tea, or a snack, they have that also!If you're in town, this is a must-see!

Did not expect to find such an awesome place in this small town. As retired veterans, my wife and I were overwhelmed by the hospitality and friendliness of these vets! Incredible displays and history are on display. We will definitely go back. Hopefully on a day when more vets are there, to hear their stories and service history. An American Jewel!!

This attraction is amazing. It is not your typical coffee shop. It is run by all vets who volunteer their time. Over 10,000 veterans have signed the guess list. The organization started when a former Vietnam Gunship Pilot moved to town 12 years ago. The shops theme was to honor Vets. Today, it has some of the most unusual displays of weapons, flags, uniforms, and unique pictures given by vets or their family from all wars. It is located in downtown Mooresville, NC a few miles from I 77 at Exit 36. The town also offers some great places to eat and it is the NASCAR capitol of the world too. Many race shops in the area. Vets, NASCAR fans, travelers, the town and shops offer a great past time that is different. Today was Thursday and over 50-100 vets were in the the shop talking, enjoying snacks, and drink coffee. I meet so many Patriots: WWII, Korean, Vietnam, Afgan, Iraq. This is a must stop for a Vietnam Vet. On Saturday they have live music. Bring your instrument and do your thing...all said it is a blast. Numerous schools groups visit throughout the year. The shop has a major bill board on the interstate too. Cool place to visit....your kids will like it too!!!

I had heard of Richard's from a friend, but wasn't prepared for such a warm welcome. They made my wife and I feel like family. The displays brought back a lot of good memories and helped my wife get a feel of military life. Wonderful place, wonderful people. Many thanks.
