This is an old school road-side attraction. The venue is well maintained, but the technology is decades old and kitsch. I remember the Flinestones and my parents taking to the venue as a child. My younger kids ( 2 and 4) enjoyed the little train and playing on the attractions and in the park. My 7 year old liked the fort and car. Although my kids haven't seen the Flinestones they still enjoyed the park.
We used to bring our kids here when they were younger and they just loved. We probably wont be back now that they are older but I highly reccommend giving it a try
I was just cruising through and ran across the Flintstone Bedrock city. I stopped because it looked fun and interesting. I did not go through the park itself as i am in my 50's but i thought i would take a look for future places to take the grandchildren. In the parking lot they have a Bedrock snack bar and a few photo opps with the staue characters and a very small merry go round. you can see into the park but not much. they have an excellent gift shop. would have been great for children
Went here as a kid and was able to take my two sons while we were moving cross country. While not in the same condition as when I was a kid it was still a neat place to visit. Kids even got to drive in Fred Flintstone's car.
This is a fun place for kids of all ages. Although I have to say it wasn't in pristine condition like the many times I was there as a kid. Even though we saw cobwebs in the corners and Fred's nose had a chip, my son and I had a fun time.
But it was worth it to tell everyone back home that we had eaten at the Bedrock Cafe. The food is good value for money, but the outside table do wobble. Great Fun
I go here once every summer. It hasn't changed in 20 years, which is one of the reasons I go back! It's a throwback to childhood for anyone who was a kid in the 80's! Definitely worth a stop. When you are done, stop at the drive-inn and get a vanilla ice cream cone...best soft-serve ever!!
Gift shop: normal size. Lots of fun items. Great souvenirs! Reservations: Quick. Easy. Affordable. Food: good. Burgers. Dogs and so fortg. Average price.Theme Park: fun. Iconic. Fully pathed. Huge playground inside. Train ride. Tons of Flintstone houses/buildings to look inside and reminisce. Movie theater playing fun live and recorded. You can spend an hour or more in here. Worth the 10$. And if you are gonna be visiting or staying on property the annual pass is worth the 5 extra bucks. Campground: what's not to love. Basic site. With fire ring and table. Bathrooms/shower hous: shaped like any other Flintstone building. Wheelchair accessible. Clean. 2 sets. Requires a little effort getting a wheelchair across the property but that's expected it's a camp ground. Camp store/ Check in: great staff. quick and easy check in.
This park looks excited from the side of the road and It is quite obvious that is how they get you to walk in the door. when you walk in there is a train ride and a playground and that is pretty much it. don't waste you money or you childs emotions.....my kids were so excited to go and highly disappointed when we walked through the gates
The prices to get in seemed a little high to me but my kids did enjoy looking at flintstone village. There is a movie house where you can watch flintstone cartoons and Fred and Barney come and meet you. We rode the train around the property and also road in Barney's car. The playground is probably the highlight of the attraction. The bathrooms are without a doubt the grossest thing I've ever witnessed. Stop at a gas station before you get here! We did try their famous frozen yogurt ice cream shop and it was delish!
"The town of Bedrock is a place right out of history". Looks exactly as it did when we visited as kids (in the '70s). Nice play area for little kids but they don't know who the Flintstones are. A few upgrades might help it along. Still fun to see though - love watching the old cartoons there with a bag of popcorn:)
This place has become rundown and not maintained. Can't really do much there. They need to open all the little houses for children to interact with. The children enjoyed the train ride and the playground the most but you can go in a free playground anywhere.
For the price you pay, it would be good for kids, but for $10, there should be more available. But overall, for an adult, it was ok, but I thought it was overpriced. The staff could learn how to be a little more friendly. It does remind you of the cartoons we watched when we were younger.
Well done Bedrock. Loved Mt. Rockmore. The train tour and the ride in Fred's car were more fun than I expected. Entertaining "theater" with Fred, Wilma & Dino singing and playing instruments. The City was great - well done. The Bedrock City Drive-in with Bronto Burgers and Ribs was disappointing - was hoping for a "larger than life" presentation but they're just burgers & hot dogs, and they shut down at 6:00...right when we got to the window to order.
We have brought our grandchildren here almost every year for last 10 years at least. We always stay in the campground for at least 3days. Campground is excellent. Clean large spaces. Small play ground kids like. Small very clean pool. Friendly helpful staff. The kids never tire of riding the train or looking at all the Bedrock houses. Now this may not be MY Favorite place but has always been a yearly MUST DO for all the kids!
