Great place for family fun. Easy access, great food, wonderful baseball. Be sure to go on dollar night and see a great game and enjoy dollar hot dogs, drinks, ice cream and more. Otto is a treat for the little ones.
We like to go watch the Indians play. The seats and food are affordable and it has a very lax atmosphere. Attendance normally is low enough that you can make your way to prime seats behind home plate on a regular basis. Good family atmosphere
Great to see live ball in a great baseball atmosphere. I enjoyed the ball park food and the game. Lots of great seating for a great price.
I went there as a kid and now am bringing my own kids. I love the old style stadium. Food is pretty good for a A club short season stadium. Very much recommended.
Went on the fourth of July. Were guest of the wounded warrior project. Had a great time. The staff and food at the ballpark were excellent. Indians one and the fireworks were awesome. You have to go on a fireworks night. Bought a couple of reasonably priced hats for the boys in the Indians store. The park is beautiful and very updated. Very handicap accessible.
We recently had a company event in one of the open air 'skyboxes'. About 30 people enjoying the baseball game, perfect weather. Waitstaff was excellent, knowledgeable and prompt in taking and delivering orders, 'section leaders' (staff who minds each section of the stadium) were friendly and helpful, quite often seeing to the needs of folks who needed a little extra help. The stadium and parking areas have been nicely updated, and the menus provide a good variety of food and drink choices, from big, thick burgers to Longhorn Barbeque to stir fry and Philly sandwiches. Wine, beer and softdrinks of course, and some great craft beers. Great experience, and our team won.
Spokane does a very nice job with the baseball stadium and events. Comfortable and fun atomsphere. Special nights often with special focus. Good parking.
We took my kids to the July 4th game on holidays. We had such a great time and enjoyed the staff and the quality of baseball so much we ended up going two more times. The concession prices are reasonable, the facility well maintained, and the staff do a fantastic job of making the outing enjoyable. At 6 bucks for bleacher seats, it is a very affordable outing. Plus, parking is free as well.
Great atmosphere. Has been renovated the past couple of years so seats are great and the effort put out by the baseball organization to interest fans and provide good entertainment are 2nd to none. Good food and good prices too. Our team lost but my wife and I had fund and would go back again.
Went for the Vancouver/Spokane game on the Fourth of July. WRONG TEAM WON! The park was in great condition. Not a bad seat! Staff seemed to enjoy their jobs and were having fun. Saw a guy spill his beer and they rushed over and offered a new one! Food was ok but could use more healthy options. Great job of putting on a ballgame and fireworks were good too!
Avista Stadium and the Spokane Indians baseball team are a great family experience. The stadium is large enough to feel like a real baseball experience but small enough that there is not a "bad" seat in the house. When kids get tired of watching the game, there's an area with bouncy castles and other attractions to keep them busy. The concessions are varied enough to offer something for everyone. Tickets are inexpensive.
We had a great time at this ballpark. The fans were friendly, the ballpark was clean, the staff was friendly and engaging, The beer and snacks were great, recycle man was awesome!!! We saw a great baseball game in a happy relaxed atmosphere. Our son was 3 at the time and even he had a great time. Great family entertainment!!
While I am certainly glad Spokane has a baseball team I can cheer on...this stadium is...well, just a stadium. There is nothing to recommend it above other stadiums of similar size. It is a good place for families to catch a game but it is kind of in a more run-down part of Spokane. I have fond memories here but nothing earth-shattering. Take it or leave it...it is not really quintessential Spokane in my mind.
I recently moved away from Spokane, and one of the things I miss the most is the Spokane Indians. Tickets are cheap (bleacher seats), beer is cold (but not cheap), staffers are friendly, Recycle Man is the sexiest superhero ever, in between innings activities are great. If you can, go to a game on the 4th of July. There are fireworks afterwards, so you never have to battle the crowds downtown in Riverfront Park to get a great show (and you have seats for it, too). There is something incredibly American about watching minor-league baseball on the 4th of July, and seeing the young players sitting in the grass afterwards enjoying the fireworks. Spectacular. PS: For awesome parking, grab a spot on one of the side streets across Havana. Easy to get in and out with just a short walk.
In cost my family about 30 bucks to be well entertained by the Spokane Indians. Avista is a really nice stadium with a good variety of food stations. It seemed really popular with families and felt really comfortable being there with my kids. The team provided lots of entertainment between innings and ended the game with a fantastic fireworks show. I was also impressed with the free parking!
