It's rare to walk into a tasting room these days and meet the owners or winemakers. A visit to Martinez & Martinez usually results in just that. Not to mention their wines are outstanding!

Located in Prosser's Vintner's Village is the tasting room for the Martinez and Martinez winery, and it made a delightful stop for my wife and I during our recent visit to this beautiful wine region of southeastern Washington. Martinez and Martinez is a family-own and run operation and features a delightful viognier along with some strong reds including their reasonably priced Cesar red. The wine steward behind the bar was helpful and funny and the tables located outside the tasting room were perfect for our picnic lunch and glass of wines. Cheers!

Love of family and love of good wine are showcased in this small tasting room located in the Winemaker's Loft in Prosser's Vintner's Village. Cesar Red, May Mae Rose, Dion Carlo Carmenere, and Selina Mechelle Muscat are all named after children and grandchildren of the owners. In addition to a variety of wine from Horse Heaven Hills AVA, there are a variety of seasonings made from locally grown peppers.
