Delicious wines are produced at Mercer Wine Estates. If you are in Prosser, I highly recommend you taste their wines.
Unbelievable hospitality, ambiance and experience! The wine was delicious- purchased at least10 bottles with my family! The place is family owned and run and it shows! From the care of the customer to the care of the products- homey BUT elegant at the same time- hard to do! Lovely, lovely, lovely and not to miss!
My husband and I stopped by during our Prosser wine tour. We like the Mercer Canyons wine, so thought we'd try the higher-end Mercer brand. The saleswoman was easy to talk with and she answered our questions as they came up. She demonstrated swirling the wine in the glass to enhance the aroma and taste. I've tried it, but I'm helpless! The tasting fee was more reasonable than other places.Besides wine, there are wine accessories for sale.Inside the tasting room is very pleasant, but the building itself is in an industrial area.
Another big winery. The tasting room was lovely, as was the young lady pouring. She was very knowledgeable and a pleasant conversationalist. The wines were nice, but mostly grocery store quality.
We made Mercer Estates our first stop during our Thanksgiving Weekend in Wine Country, and I'm glad we did.The staff was friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable. We particularly enjoyed their Sharp Sisters red blend, and their dry Riesling was a pleasant taste surprise. Open for tasting just since 2009, Mercer has already attained local status by being the featured wine at the Bounty of the Valley held in Desert Wind's upscale Mojave Restaurant.
We brought home two bottles from this vineyard. The wine was very nice and the server at the tasting counter was more than helpful in recommending other vineyards to visit.
Another vineyard and wine tasting - the wines here are very very gooda nd you will end up taking a bottle too home. New spacious tasing room - very chic - prices normal for the area.
Today we experienced wine tasting at Mercer. The young gal that served us was from Mexico. She was very, very personable and did a great job selling each wine. Had a great conversation with her. However, the wines seemed flat and not one stood out from the others. There wasn't anything special about the wine. We didn't buy any.
