patterson lake recreational area

The lake when I visited was green! Yuk!!! Tried some fishing caught nothing but snags and bullheads. The beach is very small and is not very inviting. Overall your not missing much if don't come!

i camped here for about a week. there are a few draw backs such as the bathrooms are across the "primitive camp site", about 4 blocks away. the showers are not very clean, i had to do a bleach cleaning before i showered. but for $15.00 per night you can't beat it.

We pulled in just for the night - the young man at the booth was very pleasant. Nice location with a bike path but when I opened the door to the bathroom there must have been 100 flies in there and the smell would knock you over. Granted this was the 'primitive' camping part but they would have been better having no bathroom at all.Also right next to the train tracks - noisy trains zoomed by at all times! Never again!

Very peaceful place to get out of the car after a long drive to stretch your legs and relax. There is a nice walking trail as well as a beach area

Nice beach area with quick access to water,parking lot,bathrooms. We easily pitched a canopy and started grilling, for the most part it is a great family spot. The younger single crowd were mostly respectful of the small kids.

Clean, easily accessible, perfect size for jet skiing boating, tubing, etc. Beautiful houses along the shoreline.

Nice day lake side. Surprising to see such a nice area in an otherwise area devoid of recreational opportunities.
