Had such a great time! Unique way to spend the day. Happened to be Beer Festival week (more crowded). Depending on time of day you go & weather you can work up a sweat & the breweries can be hot so bring a portable fan, blotter, or small towel & water. Def a good way to earn beer calories. If u stop at The University of Beer (100 beer choices) & The Federalist order a flight tasting. Some of the girls on our bike wore heels & were able to pedal? Not my recommendation. The tour guide Scott was nice. I would do it again on the latest tour. 73 degrees is the perfect temp!
Twelve of us chartered one of the bikes for our first time. The experience was different and a ton of fun for all of us. Being able to hook up your phone into the onboard stereo system was awesome as we rocked our own tunes for the trip. Our driver was cheerful, nice and certainly added to the experience. The two hours went so fast so it would be nice to go for 3 or 4 hours next time! They have complimentary water available on board, but no beer as they don't have their license from the ABC yet. While that would be great if they did, you really don't need it as you are only about 10 minutes from each bar you go to so unless you are going to just bike and drink, there isn't much time for that on the bike.
We really enjoyed Sheree our host. Good family time with Christmas caroling and a lot of cheer. Definitely the beginning of a yearly tradition. Highly recommend the brew bike.@
We had a great time riding the bike around town, burning those calories we just consumed, singing to our favorite tunes, waving to all the passerbys! Would love to go again! Driver was fun, all the stops were fun. Good time had by all and if you can't paddle that fast, there's room for 3 on the back bench!
Who knew that Sunday at 4:30 p.m. could be so hilarious in Sacramento? Seven "Moms on the Lam", that's who! Well-chosen brew pubs, music, and new people to meet as we pedaled and sang our way around Midtown. The husbands are still pouting they weren't included. We'll definitely be doing this again. Note: the service in the pubs was fast and friendly as you only get about 30 minutes at each stop.
12 of us took the Brew Bike on a Sunday afternoon. We started at the Red Rabbit for some brunch. We met up with Scott on the corner by Blue Cue. Our first stop was Biergarten, next Rubricon and our final stop was the Tank House. We had a great time!! Grab a group of friends and make a reservation. Many of us women had sandals on, I would recommend tennis shoes!
Six of us had the best time on the Sac Brew Bike in downtown Sacramento Sunday. We gathered at 11:30 am and received a safety orientation before all 13 of us climbed on board with our tour guide Chris, who was fabulous. Our friend Tom brought his ipod so Chris plugged his tunes into the Sac Brew Bike speakers and we were on our way! Our mission was to visit 3 craft beer restaurants/cafes within two hours, Pedal sip snack, Pedal sip snack, Pedal sip snack, Pedal! We were back at J and 28th around 1:45 pm. Each vendor had food as well a a variety of beers and sometimes wine. The cost was $40 each for this adventure. The beer destinations can vary if you tell Chris ahead of time that you have a preference. I was a great way to see Midtown! If you can't pedal there are three places to sit where you can rest your legs let the world go by...
