These outlets used to be full and with good stores. Now it is a ghost town. I am sure the Livermore outlets have taken some of the business, but we used to enjoy the location of these outlets much more!
I would give it a zero if possible. I think there may be 3 stores. Levi, And two others I can't seem to remember. Drive to Livermore if you are looking for a better shopping experience.
Only a few stores left. In the eight years I've lived near this mall it has never been more than 1/4 occupied, and now there are even fewer stores open. It is a waste of space. It should either revamp itself or close completely. The few stores left can relocate.
I think "Ghost Town" is about all one can say about the Tracy Outlets. I am sure the nice new ones in Livermore are too close but honestly, I don't think the Tracy ones were all that great before Livermore opened. There aren't many stores even open there.
Stopped here on a road trip between San Francisco Bay Area and Lake Tahoe - it took about 5 minutes time to realize not much here. and moved on....
There are only 4 open stores and the rest of the small mall has "for lease" signs. But since there isn't many stores in Tracy, it may be worth a visit if you really want to go shopping. I was actually surprised that 2/3 of the mall is closed since it's right off a freeway.
I haven't been to the outlet center lately because there is only about three tenants in the entire complex. About the only thing missing from the Tracy Outlet Center is some tumbleweeds and an old cow skull with a crow on top of it, to make the picture complete. I guess if you were a bunch of kids looking for a place to play roller hockey, the empty parking lot would be a good spot to be, but barring that, I would avoid it.
We went to the outlet hoping to pick up a few items for Christmas. We were shocked to find only threee or four stores opened. A home goods store, Carters, and Lane Bryant. I didn't even see the Levi's store. The entire end and other side was closed. Carters is great and the service is nice, but for an outlet mall this place needs a revision or help. I have never given a one before, but this isn't worth driving across town abet driving from another town.
The once busy Outlet has lost some tenents. Sony left a few years ago (so I gave up). The location is off the busy path and no new business has located nearby. They need some stronger advertising and signage. The crosstown mall has cut their customer base.
I drove through the outlet center recently out of curiosity and was saddened to discover that hardly any stores were still there. I think there were three: Lane Bryant, Corning and Levi's. If you like those places it's worth it (I especially like the Corning Store, which has some great kitchenware items). Just don't expect to spend a lot of time there. There's very little "there" there any more. Although there's no food in the actual outlet center, there's a Jack in the Box and a Subway just outside it. And it's right at a freeway exit (Mac Arthur Blvd exit of 205), so it's fast and easy to get in and out of there.
This about the only store worth going to as most stores are closing or already closed! We really like the selection and sales offered through the year.
Although I would love to see this place thrive, this outlet center is nearly closed down. Only a few shops are open here. This is not worth a trip out to Tracy to see this.
The outlet mall is in dire need of revitalization and additional stores. The new "outlets" (they aren't really outlets) in Livermore snagged all the big name outlet stores. All of the stores started closing with the onset of the mortgage foreclosures all around this area. Lots of folks losing home equity and their jobs will kill businesses. This mall has never recovered from that.
Tracy outlets is like a ghost town. There are a handful of stores, most notably a Levi's store. But 90% of the outlet mall is vacant. Should definitely NOT be on your list of top experiences in Tracy. Livermore outlets are about 1/2 hour away and are outstanding.
This place is closing down and it will be converted into a school. There are only a few stores left to be soon removed to another city.
