This winery is the "real thing" and the tasting comes with food pairing where others don't even give you nuts. The Winemaker/Owner and family gave us the tasting and explained more about their history of wine making that we could have ever expected. We liked their Ports the most and walked away with a few bottles!

Our favorite winery in Paso Robles!. Great Ports! If you are looking for a family-owned winery with fabulous wines, great food pairings and a beautiful setting, check out Thunderbolt (soon changing their name...). We were hoping Aurora would open a restaurant so we could try more of her wonderful cuisine but apparently this is not an option for her based on Paso politics. Good luck with the new name and logo. We will be back soon!

This was a great wine/food tasting experience. They offer wine tasting ($5) with food pairings (included in tasting price) to truly grasp the full effect of their wines. They answered our questions expertly! We bought a bottle of the 2001 Cabernet Sauvignon. We also got a tour of their tree house which is available for nightly rentals.
