We looked at the Vineyard from 101 and wanted a picture capturing the palette of green, orange, brown and rust of the grape vines. The review looked good too. So we took a detour. We were greeted by a friendly young man. Our group tasted both the reds and the whites and the Muscat. We bought a couple of bottles and the tasting fees were waived. It was a nice experience. The wine was a little young and still unfinished though.

Don't be fooled by the laid back staff or the Spartan exterior, this is one of the best Pinot's in the entire region. The staff is incredibly knowledgeable and understands every aspect of the winemaking prospect. Their tasting room is large and could accommodate a number of people, but the space makes it easy to get comfortable. A vinyl record player in the corner rolls out great music at an easy level, and it's as safe a place to ask questions as you'd ever want. Make no mistake though, the wine in this vineyard is spectacular. A case of either their Chardonnay or their Four Boys Pinot will impress any wine lover you'll ever meet.
